Excellent...that should give Buehrle some breathing room.

Figures that Kotsay gets a hit when a lot of people's satellites are out in the Chicagoland area.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 04:59 AM) If we were to make the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised if we got swept with our inept offense. There's no doubt in my mind KW will acquire some offense by the deadline.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 03:43 AM) Jesus Christ Ozzie. DH him for f***s sake! It's beyond obvious that KW needs to find us another RF.

Quentin is so pathetic defensively. Buehrle can't let this get away from him.

Kotsay and AJP continue their impressive performances. Why can't we just face more LHP?

Kotsay with another tough luck 6 hopper...what's that, 7-53 with RISP?

Great use of speed this inning.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 03:24 AM) Kotsay with a huge AB coming up. Scratch that, thought they'd IBB Quentin

I love the hit-and-run! Good job Ozzie.

Sox offense could really use a spark.

Against a sinker baller, it's inexcusable to not do a hit-and-run with Pierre batting. The chances of him hitting a ground ball have to be 80%

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 03:25 AM) Kotsay now 0 for his last 18 but as we just saw: he's hitting the ball right on the button. It's unreal that he's still getting at bats. I can't stand watching him and AJ bat consecutively. Can't we just play Viciedo and Castro?

No shock, Kotsay grinds out to 2nd in his first AB. Quentin looks to be shaken up from stealing 2nd.

Getting really tired of seeing Rios hit into double plays. That's 6 since the ASB.

2010 AL Central Catch-All
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 01:59 AM) So the Tigers get rained out, and they have a double dip on Sunday. No off day next week, and they go to Boston and Tampa Bay. Good luck with that, Tigers. Oh and then they have a doubleheader with the Sox after that on August 3rd. Any idea if we'll see Verlander that series?

QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 09:38 PM) Lindsay Lohan - Cardinals Tyra Banks - Phillies Angelina Jolie - Twins Megan Fox - White Sox Pamala Anderson - Tigers Lohan would be better off going to the Yankees. As for Pam, there's no way she goes play for a team with an animal mascot. At least with Tyra on the Phils, Howard will no longer be their heaviest player.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 08:28 PM) ^Good. Kotsay in the 5 hole made this offense so anemic. He'll be batting 6th, don't you worry. Over/under on 4-6-3 DP is 1.5 for him.

2010 MLB Catch-All Thread
I was thinking that the best team in baseball on a given day are the Rangers with Cliff Lee on the mound. That lineup is ridiculous (besides Chris Davis), and the Rangers bullpen is extremely underrated.
