  1. Hopefully if it's just a few days he's being pushed back for, it's not a big deal. If it is a big deal, it was nice knowing you Kenny Williams.
  2. Seriously? What exactly is bothering him?
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 06:18 PM) I remember Crede being a really good opposite field hitter early on in his career. Then he started pulling just about everything... He had an astonishing lack of opposite field home runs his last few years with the Sox.
  4. I figure not a lot of other people on this board watch shows like The Hills, but my wife was watching it last night and one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen has been on the show the last few weeks. Michaela is her name....and holy hotness!
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 06:38 PM) He's making contact this year, he's just not hitting the ball far enough. If you need one player to pop up weakly to the right side, he's your man!
  6. No one watches MLB Network....it's been a huge bust in the ratings. No one will care about this show, so a "scripted" fight between KW and Ozzie makes no sense. Did anyone even watch the show last year about the Phillies bullpen? They didn't suggest that Chan Ho Park sleep with Scott Eyre's wife or anything like that.
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 04:03 AM) Someone look out for J4L in case he has a heart attack with all these young guys getting the call. Who's next?
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 09:38 PM) God bless that man for two of is offspring. Amen, I think Kourtney is awesome
  9. D. Lee just made errors on consecutive plays...really bad ones too.
  10. Aaron Cunningham with a grand slam tonight
  11. Nice defensive positioning for the win! We didn't hit the ball overly hard tonight, but found a way to beat a bad team.
  12. Be careful with the low fastballs to Jones. McCutcheon is such a stud.
  13. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 01:46 AM) I absolutely hate the way Andruw Jones swings the bat. Just horrible. we'll start hearing excuses that he's pressing in order to hit #400
  14. Very generous call on one of the longest at bats you'll ever see.
  15. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 01:08 AM) I think you're being a little dramatic. Who was the hitting coach when Quentin had the success everyone now expects him to have yearly? Who was the hitting coach when Beckham had success last year and led many, me included, to believe he would be a White Sox all time great? Unless you can guarantee the offense will be better without Walker, its at best a lateral move. In their last 31 games they are hitting .271 as a team and that is without these 2 doing anything. The Beckham problems surfaced supposedly because he decided on his own to focus on hitting breaking balls better and it has screwed him up with fastballs, and he still is having problems with offspeed stuff. Wow, where did you hear that Beckham stuff?
  16. Infield single...Sergio missed with a few sliders that would have struck him out. Thornton time.
  17. Not a very good game for our 3-4 hitters. Two straight hitless games for them.
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 01:08 AM) His control's been crap as of late. And there's a wild pitch.
  19. Santos has thrown 4 bad change-ups in this AB to Tabata. I hated the way Castro called that AB.
  20. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 02:03 AM) False, as he is not pitching against Jayson Nix. Nix doesn't make millions though
  21. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 01:02 AM) 25 line drives actually. We'll never know how hard he's hitting those grounders, but truth is, once the sample gets large enough, it'll even itself out. There's always the luck factor in all of this. We know there is a good amount of ground balls that go for hits even though they're nothing but little choppers. Look what Beckham's done today with those. Good stuff
