As others have mentioned, the only way I get excited about this deal is if Pierre's in LF and we obtain a solid DH.

jphat does make an excellent point about how Rios' contract is even more iffy if he's your RF and not playing CF. I bet anything that KW wishes he could take that move back.

I like Gardner, but if you get him to play CF, you better find someone with good power to be our DH.
