Wait, you're saying that it was Armando Allen that punched Clausen? -

This story is getting crazy, as TMZ's reporting that Tiger told someone that his wife beat him up and the crash didn't cause the injuries. She was chasing after him with a golf club when he drove away, but they're trying to spin the story that she helped get him out of the car. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 06:52 AM) Beal deciding between most likely Florida, Illinois and Kansas and will announce Monday. Based on my day today, I could use another kick in the nuts so I'm going to guess Florida. All signs point to Florida. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 05:36 AM) Also, Weber needs to stop playing Jordan. The guy is f***ing terrible at basketball and while the whole team sucked tonight, he was the direct cause of the loss by not rotating back on D after McCamey shot the ball a little too early on Illinois' last possession. I completely agree with you on this. As much as I respected Frazier as a person, Weber's motion offense works so much better when all 5 players on the court can shoot the ball. When Jordan's in the game, it's shades of Frazier on offense all over again. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 05:30 AM) Illinois Loses. Freaking pathetic and a horrible day of sports for me. I'm pretty sure Utah didn't actually get their last 2nd shot off but we deserved to lose. Did they review it? -

QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 05:20 AM) Is Jack Cooley not playing? Plus he had Dragevich coming next year. ND only goes like 7 deep this year. No freshmen in the rotation. -

I can't see how Brey is coaching ND next year. His recruiting has been awful ever since the Harangody/Jackson class. -
QUOTE (docsox24 @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 10:25 PM) I was saying that I agreed with you 100% Since you obviously have some sort of insight into the Sox organization, anything we should be looking out for next?

Not a good few weeks for Tiger, as there's huge allegations that he has a mistress. -

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 06:44 PM) You have directv also? those announcers were funny how excited they were. I was watching on Wednesday night when they were calling the Washington State vs Alaska-Anchorage game. They were going bonkers everytime A-A scored. Some pretty funny stuff. The Great Alaskan Shootout used to be such a strong tournament, but it's really faded off. They only have 6 teams in it this season. -
My biggest issue with the use of Linebrink last year was Ozzie kept putting him into close games against the Tigers. I believe he had three or four losses against them, and that's not surprising when you have someone throwing 95 percent fastballs to a great fastball hitting team. I strongly believe that we need to add a non-fastball dominant pitcher to our bullpen (preferably a sinker baller) to go with Linebrink and Thornton.

QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 08:11 PM) ok, they "think" but we know he isnt. i think its pretty much been proven bonds is a jerk. people say it because they know it. theres a reason the players and media hated him He isn't?
-
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 08:58 PM) to me its not so much about him being a ped user, its the fact that hes a jerk I hate to break it to you, but everyone who's not a White Sox fan thinks Ozzie is a jerk.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 07:55 PM) Our catcher of the future is a roider, god knows how many others on the current roster and more than a few have gone through our organization in recent years including a couple from the '05 team. I don't think the Sox are all that clean. And yesterday we signed one of the more questionable players when it comes to PEDs use.
-
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 08:44 PM) what is there to like about him? well i know theres quite a few sox people that dont like him (farmer, hawk,dj, kittle, to name a few) Cant imagine much people in the organization that likes him I'm pretty sure KW has a great r'ship with him. Farmer hates everyone, so he's probably not a good litmus test.
-
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 08:28 PM) hes 45 and off the roids, no way. jersey sales? yea i dont think id be interested or that many people would be in getting his jersey. 0% chance we get him, thank god I think you'd be surprised at how many people like Bonds still.
-
If this was last year, I would have said it would be the perfect fit. A year totally off from baseball though, I don't think it would work out. I love Bonds though, and if we're going to support Andruw Jones, I'll have no problem supporting Bonds.

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 07:57 AM) Yikes, harsh reactions to mildly over the top celebrations I'm not referring to Wall's dunk at the end of the game. The whole game, he was posing after baskets and flexing, etc. -

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 05:55 AM) It's going to be a great day when Wall blows out a knee celebrating like little b****. God I hate Kentucky. I would actually root for Duke over UK. UK is everything that is wrong with college basketball. Yep, both Wall and Cousins are despicable with their actions on the court. It's too bad, as Patterson is a class act and those bafoons act like that. -

Demarcus Cousins really is one of the dumbest players to ever step on a basketball court. I love watching Landry Fields play, probably the most underrated player in the country. Oh, and John Wall is a phenomenal player, but someone needs to tell him to stop posing after every play he makes. I hope Varnado throws his dunk attempts into the 20th row when Kentucky plays Miss St. -
QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 25, 2009 -> 10:05 PM) Does our bench have any speed at all? Are we gonna be even slower this coming season? I wouldn't discount this guy starting for us. If he has a good spring can't you see it? If he has a good spring, why not see what he can do? We're not talking Omar Vizquel here, where it's beyond obvious the player shouldn't be starting. With that said, I highly doubt he'll be starting in the outfield. And for everyone suggesting the rotating DH next year, I hope we don't do that. It looks better on paper than it actually is, especially when you get egos involved.
-
I don't have the time to look it up, but how did Jones do against LHP last year?
-
I love it...at the very least, gives you some power off the bench.
-
I would hate this signing if it meant moving Rios to RF. The only chance for Rios to be worth his salary is if he provides 280 with 25 homers while playing center field.
