QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 03:48 AM) Yeah that would be a fantastic idea. This f***ing coaching staff needs more criticism, not one of the few decent offensive players we have. You know I think Turner is an absolute joke, and can't believe he still has a job (the similarities between him and Greg Walker are scary). Funny comment from my wife, who is much less critical than I am "was Forte on steroids last year, as he seems slower than s*** this season"

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 03:47 AM) He has the right to the play...as long as it doesn't involve contact with Olsen so he doesn't have a play on it I could have sworn it was #87 on that play.

We need a huge stop here on 3rd and goal!!

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 04:45 AM) The throw was there. The problem is the defense was allowed to bump the receiver and pick him off of the play. If Davis didn't get picked off the play its right on the money. Thats not on Cutler. Defensive player had every right to that play, IMO. Of course, throwing downfield to K. Davis probably isn't a recipe for success.

Wow, that was a terrible throw by Cutler. He really needs to start getting a lot more criticism. I wonder when the media will start with the Good Cutler/Bad Cutler like they started with Rex.
-
Holy cow Ron Turner....please leave!
-
These 2nd and long runs for 2 yards are really superior calls by Turner! Ugh, not a good time for a terrible pass by Cutler.
-
Wow, more just awful play calling after the screen pass.
-
Ugh, this team just can't put anything together. Thank Beckham the college basketball season has started.
-
Everything wrong with the Bears offense showing up on that red zone possession. I wish we could get a damn running back that dives into the end zone.

QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 02:45 AM) Yea, it's Ron Turner's fault... Two runs into the line and then a 2 yard pass to the flat is the epitome of Ron Turner

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 01:43 AM) Forte looks like he's running in quicksand,I realize the O line stinks but come on Ugh,another 3 and out Ron Turner special there

Official Recruiting Thread II

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 01:26 AM) It's turning into a circus, as Harrison Barnes wore an Iowa State sweatshirt around school today. Brad Sturdy, the Illini recruiting guru, is hearing Barnes to Iowa State. Don't get caught up in the attire to school though, as we all know of Livingston wearing an Illinois jersey the day he announced. -
No doubt in my mind that Nick Roach is the worst defensive player in the NFL this year, and maybe the worst starters on the Bears defense in three decades.

Ex-NBA ref Donaghy's book canceled by publisher

QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 05:56 AM) bumped for the finish of tonight's Bulls game No offense, but this is why the Donaghy book stuff pisses me off. Now, everyone's going to think every game is fixed. If the refs were going to fix a game, they would sure as hell make sure it doesn't come down to the final 0.3 seconds of the game. -

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 04:56 AM) make that basketball player, we've all seen linebrink at the end of games. Haha, well said! -
QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 03:50 AM) Can you imagine how amazing Gonzalez would be if he didn't play in Petco for half the season? I don't think there's any chance the Sox would get him, but Gonzalez would be the ideal player for the Sox to acquire.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 04:48 AM) What an awful call on the "visual evidence" to overturn that one, but that was a very exciting game. Though I must say great defense on Billips Kirk... NOT! You should know by now that Hinrich is the worst end of game player in the history of the world. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 03:38 AM) Gilbert Arenas just became the 18th NBA player with 12 turnovers in a single game. Well, he does have a lot on his mind with Shaq supposedly hooking up with his pregnant fiance. -

The thing that sucks is there was clearly .4 seconds left when Noah called timeout after the missed FT. -

Thabeet was looking awful anyways, correct? -
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 03:02 AM) I was just going to say, he sounds a bit bitter and defensive (because god knows he couldn't be defensive in the outfield) Nothing new, it was blatantly obvious during the 2nd half of last year that he was unhappy.

Noah looks fantastic out there. Hopefully Rose wakes up this season, as Deng and Noah are carrying this team. Also, I still stand by my opinion that the draft picks of Johnson/Taj were awful. -
Gotta love Dye using the Rios arrival as an excuse. I love Jermaine's contributions during his time here, but there's no doubt in my mind that he's one of the veterans we keep hearing about that might have been too comfortable in the clubhouse and didn't really like the influx of young players.

So Ga Tech beat a solid IUP team in overtime today. I normally don't care about exhibition games, but after all the coverage the Syracuse game received last week, I'm thankful GT won. GT played the 2nd half without Shumpert, who was in control of the game in the first half. With all of that said, I just wanted to vent that I think Paul Hewitt is a good man, but he's the worst f***ing coach in any sport in any league. He's living off of one tournament run in which he had amazing guards and that team still had to barely survive all 5 victories in the tournament. I can only hope he gets fired after this season if the team fails to make the tournament, as Lawal/Favors/Shumpert are all supposedly going to declare for the draft. Thanks for letting me vent, that makes me feel better.
