  1. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 07:57 AM) Yikes, harsh reactions to mildly over the top celebrations I'm not referring to Wall's dunk at the end of the game. The whole game, he was posing after baskets and flexing, etc.
  2. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 05:55 AM) It's going to be a great day when Wall blows out a knee celebrating like little b****. God I hate Kentucky. I would actually root for Duke over UK. UK is everything that is wrong with college basketball. Yep, both Wall and Cousins are despicable with their actions on the court. It's too bad, as Patterson is a class act and those bafoons act like that.
  3. Demarcus Cousins really is one of the dumbest players to ever step on a basketball court. I love watching Landry Fields play, probably the most underrated player in the country. Oh, and John Wall is a phenomenal player, but someone needs to tell him to stop posing after every play he makes. I hope Varnado throws his dunk attempts into the 20th row when Kentucky plays Miss St.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 25, 2009 -> 10:05 PM) Does our bench have any speed at all? Are we gonna be even slower this coming season? I wouldn't discount this guy starting for us. If he has a good spring can't you see it? If he has a good spring, why not see what he can do? We're not talking Omar Vizquel here, where it's beyond obvious the player shouldn't be starting. With that said, I highly doubt he'll be starting in the outfield. And for everyone suggesting the rotating DH next year, I hope we don't do that. It looks better on paper than it actually is, especially when you get egos involved.
  5. I don't have the time to look it up, but how did Jones do against LHP last year?
  6. I love it...at the very least, gives you some power off the bench.
  7. I would hate this signing if it meant moving Rios to RF. The only chance for Rios to be worth his salary is if he provides 280 with 25 homers while playing center field.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 06:29 PM) The only good thing coming out of last night's game was Kahlil Bell (I always think of Khalil Greene when I hear see name for some reason...). After watching Forte run like a 35 year old for most of the year, it was refreshing to see a burst of speed. Was it speed or just being in the right place at the right time? He had a huge hole to run through, and probably 99 pct of the running backs in the NFL score on that play.
  9. And there's the interception. As funny as it sounds, this was Cutler's worst game since the Packers game.
  10. QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 04:20 AM) Rex threw his deep balls to Berrian, that makes a difference. Huh? Hester and Knox are way faster than Berrian ever was.
  11. QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 05:17 AM) I'm sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. It's true, Rex threw a beautiful deep pass. That was far and away his best attribute as a QB. The worst part about overthrowing deep passes by so much is that he doesn't even give the receivers the chance to draw the PI.
  12. Wow Cutler, that's just awful! He has nothing on Rex when it comes to the deep ball.
  13. I hate that he's made me dislike his performance so much, but Cutler's been closer to the Eagles' defenders more often than the Bears' receivers tonight.
  14. How many freaking passes can he overthrow tonight?
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 02:58 AM) Is it me or does Turner put Cutler in the absolute worst situations possible in the redzone? Everytime they reach the red zone, its a run to the middle, a swing pass to the flat, and the next thing you know its 3rd and 11 and Cutler is forcing throws. I totally agree with this. It's like he's just waiting for Cutler to throw against a nickel package.
  16. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 03:06 AM) I don't care what the Cutler apologists think, you gotta make those throws to wide open recievers... again, his f***ing mechanics are terrible,he had time to throw,f***ing Cutler He keeps this up, and there's not going to be anymore Cutler apologists. Just a nightmare season for him.
  17. I'm liking the game plan of running the ball on 2nd and long. The booing is going to get out of control tonight. Ron Turner f***ing sucks at his job.
  18. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Nov 20, 2009 -> 07:22 PM) On the bench? Hell we need some power in the lineup! (I like this move though) Of course you do, Nix killed your dog!
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 20, 2009 -> 07:11 PM) Right now he would be a waste of a roster space. He would essentially be a pinch hitter against lefties and pinch runner. We actually need some power on our bench
  20. I don't want to see Nix off the team, as I think he's a great asset to a team against LHP and was a great base runner.
  21. I guarantee we'll hear one thing from KW: "I've had my eye on Omar for a long time"
