For the price the Orioles got Cla Meredith, I would have much preferred him and his ability to get ground balls over Pena.

It's simple with Swisher. Some teams value OBP more than batting average. We traded him to one of those teams, but unfortunately got nothing in return. The lack of depth the trade gave us really hurt us earlier in the year, and who's to say it's not hurting us in trying to make trades now (by having more to offer Blue Jays, etc.).
