Viciedo has had an awful month of July. I've been pretty critical of him this season (I think a lot of it had to deal with the expectations the organization had for him THIS YEAR). He needs to have a strong 2nd half for a lot of reasons.

Time for my Poreda comment from every appearance: if you can get good value for him, I have no problem trading him. I have no idea who was working the radar guns for him, but his velocity has become an urban legend.

Yep, bringing in Wellemeyer in a one run game basically sealed the game for the Cubs. This is shaping up to be just a terrible day heading into the All-Star Break.

I know DAllen will share a laugh with me about Hawk saying you never have to worry about a Sox player dogging it to first on a ground ball.

Wow, one of the few times I can say I feel like Buehrle let his teammates down with his effort. I can't believe Ozzie's letting him get embarrassed like this.

Todd Wellemeyer is like a gift to the NL Central from the Cardinals. Such a terrible pitcher.

Carlos Gomez absolutely owns us. Just pull Buehrle and save him a few meaningless innings. His change-up is the worst I've ever seen from him today.
