Thunderbolt, I think we're all very frustrated and even those that said a month ago "don't worry, they're just bluffing" are beginning to get worried. I still think it's 50/50 we sign a DH in the next few weeks. If we don't and the offense fails this year, then we all know who the main culprit should be.

Anyone have any pictures of Ozzie putting Beckham in an electrical closet last season? That might be our only hope of having an actual DH in 2010. What's even more frustrating is news that the Cubs are about to sign Gomes for a few mil to be their 4th outfielder. He'd be one of our best hitters.

Probably the two worst fits for Dye in all of baseball. San Diego's outfield is just so damn spacious, and RF at Wrigley is an extremely difficult position to play. From what we saw from Dye the last few years, I don't think he'd take too kindly to playing 3 times a week.
