QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Sep 4, 2008 -> 12:22 AM) A Clinton supported, who now support mcCain, just said on CNN that she doesnt think a McCain presidency will overturn Roe v Wade. What part of McCain makes her think this? Him publicly saying RvW SHOULD be overturned? McCain saying he wants to clone conservative judges Alito and Roberts? McCain told Tim Russert he would support an amendment that BANS abortion. And she really thinks he wont try? I saw that "hottie", and she should worry about gay rights before she worries about abortion issues.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 4, 2008 -> 12:12 AM) We are royally f***ed at 3B after this season. Uribe shouldnt be a starter and Josh Fields looks like the next coming of Joe Borchard at this point. Agreed, I think it will be Blalock or Melvin Mora over there.
-
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 11:09 PM) Something is f***ed up over there. Why did he miss his MRI? Didnt he think that may be a bit important? No kidding. One thing that I'm shocked hasn't become a bigger deal is just how much of an asshole Piniella is being to the media. If Ozzie was acting the way that Lou is, you'd have articles all over the place.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 4, 2008 -> 12:02 AM) Tension from who? Crede vs. the organization? Yes....watch Boras try to force him back into the lineup.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 4, 2008 -> 12:05 AM) No, I still think Joe has made plays Juan cant this season. He's had some uncharacteristic errors, but I still think his defense has been good. He excels at stopping plays at the right time, doubles down the line, shots in the hole, tough in between hops. Its just something he always does IMO. I agree that Crede has more range to his sides than Uribe, but Crede has been absolutely terrible on tough in-between hops this season. He has no confidence on those plays. Uribe is fantastic on plays like that.

I expected this. tension in the organization due to Crede saying he's day-to-day.

QUOTE (sox1844 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 08:09 PM) I'm sorry, but to say "flop" is unbelievably stupid. Look at his career averages. What did KW expect? He's having a solid year, batting lead off on a new team. I think we got exactly what we expected. Swish on the other hand... Nope, they expected OC to be a leader in the clubhouse, as well as a terrific fundamental hitter. He's failed miserably at both.
-
So Zambrano missed his MRI today? Also, sounds like Harden is injured more than they've said.

Huge win...great to come home on Friday no worse than 1/2 game out.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 06:34 PM) Linebrink warming up. I just threw up in my mouth. This is shades of bringing in Hermanson in the World Series after not pitching in months.
-
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 06:21 PM) Why can't these releif pitchers come in and shut the door? Dotel gets an out then promptly gives up a walk to a guy with no homers and after he gets a 1-2 count on the guy Lack of adequate breaking ball by too many of our relievers.
-
Walk Sal Fasano? Come on Dotel!
-
6th inning Javy.
-
Nice to see the Sox score 2 runs as I step away from my desk. Have to retire Fasano without allowing a run.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 05:12 PM) Pull up the Tampa game log from 8/23. This game is looking like a mirror image for him although the offense....well at least Dye showed up for a brief moment that day. That series seems to have killed this offense. It's like every last 1/4 of the season from the past 6 years or so. What do we have, like one homer in the last week?
-
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 06:04 PM) Alexei grounds weakly to the pitcher. Our offense once we get men on is getting comical. Any chance the Indians don't score now this inning?
-
Anyone know what Dye is hitting with RISP since August started?
-
QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 04:47 PM) uh oh Please be more specific for those that can't watch.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 05:45 PM) and frankly the averages from toby, cabrera and even ramirez are very empty batting averages Ramirez at least has some extra base hits. Outside of that game in Baltimore last week, OC has been a single's machine for month. And as for Toby's power...let's just say that I can't believe I was at the game he homered.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 04:44 PM) Quite frankly, yes it does matter. Especially when you compare Bolt's physique to that of the other sprinters. Most of the sprinters look like football players, while Bolt looks more like a basketball player. -
Sowers is perfect after 3 against the American Dreams (for all you Baseball Stars fans).
-
Toby Hall's stats this season are amazing. 6 runs scored all season, 4 extra base hits in 110 at bats.

QUOTE (letsgoarow @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 04:36 PM) fields is not good at baseball. He should try out for the bears QB job. I really hate how we're playing guys this week who looked just terrible in the minors last weekend. Why don't we call up Egbert while we're at it?
-
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 05:23 PM) Whoa, this is honestly the lineup we're trotting out there? It's ludicrous, isn't it?

Lots of infield pop ups for Alexei recently.
