Why are people talking about trading Contreras? The only chance he gets traded is after the deadline during the waiver period. He won't be included in any deal until he shows he actually can throw the ball.

I'm pretty close to getting behind a possible Duke for Fields/Poreda deal. I actually think 3rd base is a pretty easy position to fill, so I'm not worried about 2009 and on.

I bet plan A is Brian Roberts.

Let's see....the offense sucks, the defense sucks, the starting pitching besides Buehrle is tanking, and the bullpen is tanking. This upcoming road trip will define the season for the Sox....anything less than .500, and we're in trouble.
