  1. I can't see Ozzie getting rid of Ozuna. Just like Lovie Smith with A. Peterson, I think Ozuna will always have a job if Ozzie is managing.

  3. Thanks for nothing Trevor Hoffman. Worst case scenario is we gained a game on Tigers, I'll take that!
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:10 AM) I'm thinking if he keeps this up, he could be on the South Side for a couple more years. I can't say I'd argue with a middle-infield of Cabrera and Ramirez. I agree
  5. Wise! That would have been awesome to see him go for the inside-the-parker.
  6. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:46 AM) Someone pulled the plug out there, cant see s***! Could you imagine if we always had to do this? Hawk's "stretch" would be the biggest tease since my high school girlfriend.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:46 AM) That ball landed just about where I'll be sitting Thursday according to Gameday. Anyone see how many rows deep it went? You're going to be seating on the concrete right on the other side of the fence?
  8. What a blast! At this stadium, against Lowe....that's mighty impressive. He did that hop, so he thought it was gone.
  9. I know I say this often, but I would love to see a hit-and-run here. With Lowe having his sinker and offspeed stuff going, maybe we could get a 1st and 3rd?
  10. Ugh....Buehrle should have just left that one go. A few inches away from a very easy inning.
  11. McNeil has 2 more years left on his deal, and they said today that Hood would not be welcomed back at the Score.
  12. The Sox hitters seem shocked that everything is low and away.
  13. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 03:32 AM) Man, it just has the feeling of a game where Buehrle gives up a HR after surrendering a hit and we lose. Oh yes, very ominous right now.
  14. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:27 AM) The turning point was the bases loaded and no outs only scoring one run in the first. Our situational hitting sucks. I still laugh when I see statistics that the Sox are 2nd in hitting with RISP (as of last weekend). That doesn't seem true. However, I was watching the Phils game earlier, and their announcers were saying how erratic their offense is, as they'll score 12 one game, and then 2 the next and lose 4-2. It's not just the Sox!
  15. Wow, that was beautiful! One of the better plays you'll see!
  16. Perfect opportunity for Buehrle to pick Kemp off.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:23 AM) Lowe through 47 pitches in the first 3 innings and 33 in the next 3. If Sox lose, that Ramirez AB was the turning point. Sox haven't had a runner reach since.
  18. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:23 AM) Delwyn Young is an extremely under-rated prospect. crap, I should know better
  19. I've never seen Lowe have this type of success with his offspeed stuff.
  20. Lowe has it on cruise control. Eddings is really helping him out with these low strike calls. Buehrle has a very difficult inning coming up next inning.
  21. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 04:16 AM) I hate when he does the umpire rants, but he has a point with the last pitch. Dye was K'd on that pitch. Oh ya, that was a terrible non-call to Berroa. Two bad strike calls, to Dye in the 1st and Ramirez in the 4th, have really hurt us.
  22. Delmyn hit one 5 feet in the air his first time up, and 400 feet his next time up.
