Just a stellar call by Ozzie to take out Masset. That 5 pitch inning in the 6th must have really taxed him.

5 defensive miscues are counting

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 10:56 PM) Thanks Paulie you're the f***ing best!! It's mind boggling how bad him and Crede have been on defense. They have absolutely no confidence out there. This might be the worst defensive game I've ever seen by the White Sox.

Thanks PK, Logan, and Ozzie. Seriously, why not keep Masset in the game?

f***ing Paul Konerko and his terrible defense! Also, feel free to catch the ball OC.

Logan's looked terrible his last couple of games. His slider has nothing on it.

Our hitters continue to be baffled by any offspeed pitch. 21 base runners, 7 runs.

We haven't seen a bat flip on a no doubter in a while.

QUOTE (jphat007 @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 10:40 PM) BUNT! Sarcasm?

Good job Juan! Hopefully OC doesn't bunt here, as Toby will have a hard time beating the play.

Why not let Wise bat against Wright here?

How about a wild pitch?

Another nice shank by Toby.

There's really no excuse for the Sox to not be up by 5 runs at this point. This would be among the worst losses of the season.

18 base runners in 6 innings, and only 6 runs.

What an awful at bat by PK. This team doesn't deserve to win today.

2008 Chicago Cubs Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 03:46 AM) Give the Sox over the Cubs any day. I completely disagree, especially when Soriano returns. Their lineup of Soriano/Fuku/Lee/Ramirez/Soto/Edmonds/Derosa/Theriot is just ridiculous. Marmol is struggling, but at the same time, the rest of their non-Wood bullpen is performing well. Gaudin was a hell of a pick up for them.

How do Ozzie and Cooper continue to trot out Contreras when they see how awful his stuff is? They should be getting him checked out to make sure there's no injuries, as it's obvious he can't finish off his pitches.

What a terrible team effort on defense today.

SOX @ Texas Rangers, 7/13, 2:05 PM, CSN, AM 670
Crap, we should have scored about one more each in all of the 5 innings so far. Kinsler's D saved them at least one run, while our D has cost us at least 2, if not more.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 08:55 PM) LA has strong pitching and is looking to buy. If they ever get an impact bat they will win the NL. Sucks for them that Brad Penny fell off the face of the planet. Isn't Saito getting some elbow MRI tests done?
