I can't believe other teams out there, like the Dodgers, couldn't top this.

So I didn't know Harden has a 7 mil team option for next year. This is a fantastic deal for the Cubs then, as this isn't a rental. My brother had a chance to talk to a scout tonight, and he was shocked the A's didn't get more than this for Harden AND Gaudin. The scout thought Harden must be hurt.

That's an insane trade, as there's serious concerns about Harden's health.

Danks has been going up against some studly pitchers, and he keeps us in the game and allows us to take the lead often. What a breakthrough year for him.

Ugh, Logan should really be in to face Cust. I can't believe Ozzie hasn't learned that Linebrink can't pitch in the 9th inning. This is just terrible managing.

Ellis scares me here, as he's a good fastball hitter and Linebrink doesn't have a good offspeed pitch against righties.

Should Crede have made that play?

What do we do in the 8th? I'd recommend going with Logan against Cust, and then bring in Linebrink. Thornton should be the 9th inning man.
