QUOTE (shawnhillegas @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 10:57 PM) I gave you credit. I know I'm a jackass and make a ton of bad predictions, but my favorite one was saying that Pods better play shallow with Vizcaino up in the 9th inning of Game 2, as he's likely to slap it to left field.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 10:55 PM) Jones has had some good swings today. Linebrink can't just pipe his fastball to him. Let the record show I typed this prior to the swing.

The outfield better be playing shallow as possible with Fahey up.

Jenks needs to cut his hair, start riding a motor cycle again, dump his hot girlfriend, and wear a leather jacket.

Nice play by Uribe...I think we caught a break. This field is a mess though.

I was thinking earlier today how we haven't seen any homers from Luke Scott where he drops his bat on the ball low and in. If he homers this inning, I'll take the blame.

AJP had a great pitch to hit on the 3-2, but he jammed himself.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 11:48 PM) fathom shows up and things go downhill... Coincidence? /green? If that was true, we'd be 0 and 162.

3 of 4 hitters coming up for the Orioles are lefties. Why is Linebrink warming up?

Linebrink instead of Thornton next inning?

Johnson is a sinker baller. Not a good match up with our home runs swings sure to come.

The problem with having Swisher bunt there was you were putting Cabrera in a situation where he'd have to knock in some runs. He hasn't hit the ball hard enough for a sac fly in a week.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 10:38 PM) yikes alot of guys hit that last pitch a really long way I can't believe we got Millar out on a 91 mph fastball on the inner half.

QUOTE (shawnhillegas @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 11:37 PM) This is why you don't sign him to a 5 year deal. At his rate of regression, he will have Zito velocity in 2010. I still think they should trade him for a huge package if possible.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) huh? you dont play back and allow a team to just tie the game on a groundball. With no outs, and when you're the home team, I'd play for keeping the game tied.

How sad is that...a high fastball at 91 mph. He really has lost 5 to 6 mph on his fastball.

QUOTE (Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 11:32 PM) Well, Bobby sucks against the O's. But aside from leaving in Javy, who does Ozzie bring in? Wasserman? I thought Javy was well above the 100 pitch mark. I'm actually surprised we didn't let him try to finish.
