  1. It’s crazy is that we’re in the era of starters throwing harder than ever, and then you get a guy with an incredible arm and he’s throwing 91 mph fastballs at times. Today actually looked like the start he had when he blew his elbow out.
  2. Remember how great his stuff looked in ST the game he was supposed to go one inning, and then he looked awful in the games he was expected to go multiple innings.
  3. What dominant stuff does he have? And after the knee issues, his stuff deteriorated to this point.
  4. That 83 mph slider on the inner half would be hit out by most college players. His command has never been good enough to get by with average stuff.
  5. Such a great thing they didn’t acquire a potential 6th starter this year for when someone struggles or gets hurt
  6. Isn’t it amazing to you to see this stuff after what we would see in the minors?
  7. 93 mph fastballs get hit hard. He’s not lasting in the rotation this year with this arsenal
  8. Because they’re going to get offspeed pitches more often
  9. Of course, as soon as RISP, they fail. That was a great pitch to hit.
  10. Looks like a reliever to me if he can’t keep his velocity past the first inning
  11. Taking strikes, swinging at balls is a terrible combination. Andrus has been pathetic so far.
