  1. EXCELLENT f***ING JOB MACDOUGAL!
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:23 AM) Not just our organization, but almost every organization. But don't you think that after this year's struggles with Widger's hitting, they might want to make sure they have a strong offensive back-up catcher? Aaron Rowand would have misplayed that ball
  3. QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:21 AM) does he have good defense and call a good game? As long as he doesn't call fastballs from Hermanson with 2 strikes. Nice pitch. All he had to do was get it over....Shoppach was looking for the walk.
  4. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:22 AM) Hell yes Yes, I've heard he's the best defensive catcher in the organization.
  5. Note to Chris Stewart: don't set-up inside for MacDougal's fastball!!!
  6. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:16 AM) What did you hear? That unless you want a hitter who will struggle to hit .200 in the majors, he's probably not MLB back-up caliber.
  7. Wow...from what I've heard and seen, people who think Stewart will be our back-up catcher next year are going to be wrong. Thornton's warming up.
  8. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:10 AM) You just couldn't have predicted that inning happening.I will say Oz should have brought in either Riske or MAcdougal instead of Hermie. Ya, it's one of those cases that if you can't preserve a 9 run lead after 6 innings, then you don't deserve to win.
  9. I'd like to see MacDougal try to finish this. If you let Jenks start the inning, you have to have an extremely short leash.
  10. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:05 AM) Don't say things like that man. We WILL win this game. I'm not going to lie...it's been enjoyable being on the same wave length with you tonight. It won't last long...so I thought I'd salute you before we disagree again.
  11. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) That also means like you've said our non-relievers STINK big time. Yes they do...they're pitching with no guts or intensity.
  12. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:59 AM) Fathom, my stomach is not feeling well at all. It was doing perfectly fine about 15 minutes ago. Man, gotta gut another one out! I already told my fiance that if we lose this game, I'm not going out.
  13. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:56 AM) Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up and get ready for another roller-coaster ride. Why can't we win any game the easy way??? We just have to make every game exciting and tight! Yep...it's amazing that you think we've had two games in the last two weeks where we were up by like 7 or 8, and the opposition ended up getting the tying run to the plate.
  14. QUOTE(TheOcho @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:53 AM) I kinda like to believe the rookie catcher had a part in that call and ... it wasn't a close game at the time. It wasn't a mop-up situation.
  15. Get Thornton or MacDougal in this freaking game.
  16. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:53 AM) Son of a.... I just said to myself. "Watch Dustin try to blow this guy away and give up a homer" Yep, me too. He was making the guy look stupid on the offspeed pitch.
  17. And there's no one warming up in the bullpen.
  18. Good grief...why in the world would you call for a fastball? I'm sorry, but Hermanson has no business pitching in close games.
  19. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:47 AM) and just when things were going so well......and here comes Hermie, buckle your seatbelts boys! Choo's going to put some great swings on the pitches he sees from Hermanson. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:49 AM) Fathom, the score was 10-1! Let Garland rest for the pennant race. McDowell is s*** for saying that! I wasn't complaining about it. I was simply saying that McDowell is questioning it. Clutch defensive play by Iguchi. So....what's Chris Stewart's CERA? LOL
  20. QUOTE(The Critic @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:47 AM) The Savior...... He won't be pitching in any game that we're within 4 for the rest of the season. QUOTE(3E8 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:48 AM) Ozzie should heed your signature. It's pretty obvious to anyone watching White Sox baseball this season that McCarthy is one of the worst choices from the pen pitching with inherited runners. Yes, but this is all on McCarthy. His stuff sucks right now, as does his location.
  21. Good grief....this is getting ridiculous. McCarthy absolutely stinks on the mound. And we're bringing in Hermanson. And McDowell is real questioning Ozzie for pulling Garland when he did.
  22. McCarthy comes in, and has no problem keeping up his poor stretch of hanging his offspeed pitches. Can our non big 3 relievers get anyone out?
  23. QUOTE(Wanne @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:33 AM) Very refreshing....as opposed to grandpa tellin WWII stories. Yaz, Catfish, Jim Rice, and Freddie Lynn were in WWII? Please don't make this game interesting Boone.
  24. Am I the only one who enjoys the stories Black Jack tells more than Hawk, as they stories are about more recently players that we might actually care about? You can also tell that DJ has a definite friendship with McDowell. If Iguchi can get on, then Dye can get his try at the cycle w/o going back on the field.
