It seems like everything McCarthy is throwing is over the plate. He's not trying to bust the righties inside, and they're able to look over the plate.

There was definitely a change in our hitting philosophy from the 5th inning on. Lots of uppercut swings....which doesn't exactly work if you're not facing Silva.

Guerrier's shut us down the last few innings. If a runner gets on vs Buehrle, the pen should probably be used.
