  1. That was pretty close on PK. Pretty craptastic AB though.
  2. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 02:07 AM) when was the last time Paul got a hit? In the first inning.
  3. Well, now we're into their nasty part of the bullpen. We're going to regret only getting one against Washburn.
  4. Well that was a nice turn of events. Don't let up here with Molina.
  5. Angels have been hitting Buehrle hard over the last few innings. Vlad's due to be a factor quite soon.
  6. 1 f***ING RUN! That's all we got against a pitcher on his death bed. And even though I'm being sarcastic, every article written about tonight's game will make Washburn out to be the biggest hero to hit LA since the invention of breast implants.
  7. QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:59 AM) even my wife says AROW needs to hit 3rd. we will never know. Against lefties, he should be. Against righties, he might as well be on the bench.
  8. Would this be a good time for: WHERE WOULD HE PLAY? Who would have ever thought the number 3 hole would kill us?
  9. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:57 AM) Right down the middle. This is looking like the typical Dye AB in the clutch.
  10. Here comes our number 3 hitter with a huge AB. Dye has at least one homer off of Mr. Asshole Donnelly in the past, but I think his overall numbers are poor.
  11. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:51 AM) What are you talking about. I agreed with you. I think they should hit every cookie on teh screws as well. My fault, I misunderstood what you said. I thought you were saying Crede shouldn't be bashed because he did hammer that meatball about 5 ABs ago. Sorry!
  12. QUOTE(bmags @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:49 AM) f*** f*** f*** can't we catch a break???? Routine grounder to the pitcher thrown down the RF line is a pretty big break, if you ask me.
  13. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:48 AM) I know right. When's the last time Crede took a meatball and crushed it. It's got to be like 4 or 5 ABs. Ludicrous. It's called cashing in on the other team's mistakes. Buerhle hangs a slider, and Quinlan ties the game. Crede gets a slider, and pops it up. I'm not saying that he needed to hit a homer on the pitch. However, while you like to get upset every time there's a hard out made by the Sox, those cookies that are blown are likely a bigger factor in the outcome of the game.
  14. Crede gets a meatball better than the one Quinlan hit for a homer, and flies out weakly to RF.
  15. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:39 AM) Sucks that all of a sudden these crappy ass hitters are making Mark work while we are slapping soft grounders back to the sick pitcher. Those crappy ass hitters are better than the sox hitters in every facet of the game besides hitting homers. Good catch by Dye!
  16. QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:35 AM) "i feel the momentum swinging" ed farmer. That happened the second Rowand got thrown out at home.
  17. QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:32 AM) I love how the second the Sox do something wrong the haters come out. Huh? I think tonight is pretty symbolic of the people who are usually in these threads. Please tell me you aren't satisfied with the way things are going?
  18. Jas.....You and I both talked about how the offense would excel once it made the playoffs cause the pressure of the collapse talk would be done with. Do you think the offense is pressing now because the pressure of being the team most people favored has started up again?
  19. Jphat....at least you don't have to worry about the Sox making a lot of hard outs tonight.
  20. Everett looks just terrible from the right side of the plate. He's so far out in front of pitches, all you have to do is throw an offspeed pitch, and you'll get a weak out.
  21. Sox are having a lot of success going the other way, but when they pull the ball, they're hitting it weakly. SSI, there's your cue buddy!
  22. QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 01:19 AM) Buehrle is pitching amazingly tonight. Are you just trying to jinx him? Buehrle got away with a meatball.
  23. Why does it always seem like Crede is so far off the 3rd base line?
