  1. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 01:43 AM) People will always think nationally televised games are against the sox no matter who is int he booth. Berman was bad, but Buck is generally regarded as the best announcer in baseball. Personally, I enjoy listening to Buck.
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 01:43 AM) He took 4 and then crushed a ball. What more do you want? Crushed? It was a chopper right to the 3rd baseman. Rowand's was a ball that was crushed.
  3. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 01:42 AM) Little unlucky there too. Nice piece of hitting Scott. If Figgins didn't make every single play look tough, it would have been a routine play. Pods likely chased ball four, but at least it looked like he had a plan at the plate.
  4. QUOTE(chisox72 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 01:39 AM) Listening to Joe Buck makes me want to vomit all over myself.... Could this guy be anymore BLATANTLY biased? Buck's a Cardinals fan.
  5. Iguchi have a play on that if Garland didn't knock it down?
  6. That hitting inning wasn't very good. Big inning for Garland here with the top of the order coming up.
  7. Good job the first time through by Garland. The Sox can make things a lot easier for them if they keep putting together solid ABs.
  8. Damn, bad luck there on a great swing by Rowand.
  9. There we go! Shades of Timo vs Shields there.
  10. Not a very good AB by Konerko. Pick him up Carl!
  11. Great to see Dye lay off of the slider on a full count. No triple plays PK!
  12. Great throw by Iguchi! That looked like the Sox running the bases.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 12:48 AM) I'd take either one on my team. Not to go off on a tangent here, but it baffles me how many people hate Manny on this site. He might be quite a strange fellow, but he's a phenomenal hitter.
  14. GREAT PLAY! That had all the makings of an infield miscue, but Iguchi showed a lot of patience.
  15. Looks like a lot of 4 seam fastballs so far.
  16. That's not the way you want to start things. I really question trying to change Garland's approach in the postseason in contrast to what he's done all year.
  17. QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 12:37 AM) Here comes the suspense: can Garland pitch after such a long rest? I just hope it's not a mental thing.
  18. What happened to Rowand's power? It looked like he drove that ball pretty well off the bat.
  19. The bottom of the 1st inning is huge for Garland. If he can get us right back in the dugout with a 3-0 lead, we'll have a ton of momentum.
  20. It's so huge to put up runs while the Angels have bad stuff on the mound.
