  1. Yay Timo!!! Mercy, does Bruce Chen throw batting practice.
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:53 AM) Bruce Chen coming in from the bullpen. LMAO, he is supposed to start tomorrow. I feel sorry for Baltimore.....NOT! That's why I said Penn or Ponson.
  3. Uribe's swing is so much more quiet now than it had been. It would be nice of Timo to get this run in, and snap out of one of the worst individual starts ever in a baseball game for a single player (hard toaccount for 4 of the worst 9 outs)
  4. Looks like we'll be facing Hayden Penn or Ponson tomorrow.
  5. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:43 AM) Bean. Sosa. Now. He's helping us a lot more than he's hurting us right now.
  6. Now can I complain about Crede? I always knew there were two E's in Crede.
  7. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:37 AM) Really, I wanna see some retaliation later in this game. I suddenly don't like the Orioles as much as I once did. I'm still not sure if it was intentional. When a sidearm righty has a bad release point, his ball will sail in like that one did. Remember, we've come close to hitting about 5 Orioles in the head this series.
  8. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:33 AM) This year we're more of a team than any other year I can remember. Sticking up for your players and picking them up, at your own risk, is something I believe they'll do. Well, I hope it's Vizcaino that we use to hit someone then. Maybe he'll throw one of those wicked hanging sliders at Roberts (it would be quite the change, as usually people are hitting Viz).
  9. Isn't it kinda funny that the day we finally get rid of Willie, Iguchi leaves with an injury?
  10. I know everyone likes to say how we should retaliate, but I think we could do without suspensions or having a guy characterized as a head hunter. Retaliating just opens up the possiblity that they throw at us again, and we suffer a more serious injury.
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:31 AM) Byrnes Ks. 2 dead. Garcia has a great slider going.
  12. QUOTE(Big Hurtin @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:29 AM) Do you think Iguchi got hurt real bad, or was it just a precautionary move to take him out? Nothing serious, but it will be quite sore. Blum will be playing tomorrow, so Iguchi will get the day off likely.
  13. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:28 AM) I'm hoping we bean Roberts. He kills us. But not to injury him of couse, simple retaliation. Lets wait until we have 2 outs. No reason to plunk the leadoff guy with the heart of the order coming up. That could be their only chance of coming back in this game.
  14. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:27 AM) Garcia throws hard. Let's hope one of those fastballs finds Sosa. I'd rather take the automatic out. Sosa has been quite helpful this series so far.
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:27 AM) Damn, home plate ump talking s*** to Ozzie. Carl grounds out. Inning. Ozzie WILL retaliate. Garcia's going to get tossed if he hits someone. Anyone else think that was intentional, for Iguchi stealing a base earlier?
  16. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:27 AM) He can? I'd have to see it to believe it first...
  17. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:25 AM) you could be stuck with Harris instead of timo. I'd rather have Harris. At least he can run.
  18. We don't have a backup infielder now, do we? That's why there was no point in sending down both of those guys tonight.
  19. Negativity or not, Timo has to get his ass off of this team. Easily my most hated Sox player in a long time.
  20. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:12 AM) Offense is looking good. People are hitting the ball where its pitched. This is exactly the approach the team should take. This is great. It's like they're finally listening to you after 100+ games!!!
  21. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:08 AM) Good to hear. Doesn't mean I won't b**** when it's warranted though However, I'm not going to be analyzing every single little thing in a negative manner, especially with how things are going so far this season.
  22. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:01 AM) Don't ease up. Frustration just shows you care. I don't want to be an asshole either to fellow Sox fans.
  23. QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 01:02 AM) Yes it did. But how many runs has his gloved saved over the year? I'd guess dozens. Of course, and that's why we say how he deserves a gold glove, etc. If anyone makes an error on a routine throw that allows someone to score with 2 outs, I'm going to be upset.
  24. f***ing awesome! I love how we just kept our foot on their throats, and are going for the kill this inning. In years past, we would have stopped scoring after the first.
  25. I can't believe PK scored on that after he paused to make sure it went by. Lopez has some of the worst stuff I've seen in a long time tonight.
