QUOTE(Fotop @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 03:03 AM) Was that just an unintentional, intentional walk? I'm watching on gamecast, and I'm rather curious because Kielty kills us. I have nightmares of Kielty hitting with a 3-0 count. I was happy we walked him there w/a lefty up next.

Great job Buehrle. Hopefully we'll keep having good AB against Harden.

Big batter in the game here with Hatteberg. Buehrle has to keep the ball down like he's been doing.

Pitch over the error Buehrle.

Ozuna has to try and hit a sac fly in those situations. Would have loved to see him get that bunt down.

Holy cow, incredible AB by Widger there. Thought that ball was going to hang up long enough for Kotsay to catch.

I'm more confident with Uribe at the plate in crucial situations than anyone else on our team. Keep it going Widger!

Time for a sac fly Uribe

Nice hit by Dye. Sure would have loved to see that in the first inning with 2 men on base.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 02:38 AM) Why did Pena take out their starter? He was doing just fine. 117 pitches for Lima.

6 pitches seen by 4 batters that inning.

Great double play there, PK saved a run w/his scoop at first.

2 straight runners allowed by Buehrle after being up 0-2 in the count. Be careful with fastballs to Ginter.

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 02:23 AM) I'm sorry, but Jermaine Dye has no business playing in this game tonight, let alone batting 5th? C'mon Ozzie.... As much as I hate it and many others, Ozzie won't make changes right now. He probably thinks his lineup is the reason we're 16-4 right now. I honestly can't say I blame him, why mess with a good thing? If we start to lose more games than we win, then he should make some changes.

Rowand's been going the other way with pitches lately, and he's staying on the ball better because of it. I have no doubt Rowand will get it going, especially as we face more lefties during the season.

Love to see 3 grounders hit off of Buehrle in the first inning.

According to EQA by position, J. Dye is the 3rd worst player in baseball this year.

Sox @ A'ss Game Thread (4/26 @ 9:05 p.m. CT)
I don't care if Dye was hitting the ball hard in batting practice Hawk, he shouldn't be in the lineup against a tough righty right now batting 5th

Sox have lead in every game this year now
-
Sox @ A'ss Game Thread (4/26 @ 9:05 p.m. CT)
Two reasons why A.J. likely isn't starting, besides for the toe problem: - Widger's had success catching Buehrle this year - With a day game tomorrow, we were going to have to rotate catchers anyways. Might as well let A.J. have another day of rest.

2nd career shutout. I'll answer my own question.

Tremendous defensive game by Uribe tonight! Really makes you laugh when you think how bad Valentin used to be on this same field.
