So either Javy has stated that he doesn't like to go on short rest or someone looked at his numbers on 3 days rest, saw that he hasn't won a game and drew up a conclusion.

Alexei Ramirez is hitting .245 since Quentin went down with his injury, sure he has 3 HR over that 13 game span but I'd hardly call that "raising his game." Longoria has been back all of 5 games, not really sure how a team can be "streaky" over a 5 game period but he hit .364 in his first 4 games back so I doubt he's been a part of the problem. Evan has easily been the better player this season both at the plate and in the field so he should probably win the award with Armando Galarraga and his 122 ERA+ being the wild card.

In the 46 games since Uribe took over for Crede at 3B Juan is hitting .312/.355/.504/.859. That's in 141 ABs.

In 22.1 non-save situation innings this season Bobby Jenks is sporting a 3.62 ERA and 1.52 WHIP compared to a 1.93 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in save situations. Big difference.
