Only 7 strikes swinging from Royals hitters vs Broadway today.

93 pitches for Lance, he's gonna have to make this inning an efficient one if he wants to go 6.

This isn't going to sound right since he did limit the Royals to only 2 runs (only 1 should have been earned) over 5 today and that's all you really could ask from Lance. But he really needs to start missing some bats if he wants to succeed against real offenses. He struck no one out and I'd venture to guess that the Royals were making contact on at least 90% of their swings today, he just wasn't getting anything past them. That's not going to fly against a more potent lineup. Great results from Lance but he's gonna have to work on some things if he doesn't want to get his ass handed to him next time out.

81 pitches through 4 for Lance. If he can give us 1 more scoreless inning then get him the hell out of there, his start will have been a complete success.

Broadway is just incapable of missing bats right now, the hitters are getting to everything he's tossing up there. 53 f***ing pitches for Broadway, we'll be lucky if he goes 4.

It's going to be so annoying when Cabrera is awarded the gold glove for this season. He's going to finish with 12 errors or so, he's the previous winner and no other young SS have really stepped it up this year.

Uribe is a godsend at 3B, when the ball is hit to third you know the play is going to get made. It's a good feeling.

Anyone else hear Hawk yesterday mention how the defense for the Sox has been solid all year? The man has lost his damn mind.

This defense is a f***ing joke. Cabrera catches more balls to his side than any "elite" defender I've ever seen, lucky for him he can give a little head jerk before dropping it then call the press box between innings and get the error over turned.
