I think it would be ridiculous to trade away one of the absolute best bench players in baseball, a guy who possesses certain skills that no other non-starter on this team has simply because he doesn't have an obvious defensive backup spot. He can play most any defensive position outside of CF, provides more power off the bench than any of the others and actually knows how to draw a walk in a key situation unlike Ozuna and Cintron who have terrible plate discipline. Mack will not be traded this Spring, mainly because KW is dumb enough to make such a move, I still think Mackowiak is KW's backup plan at 2B in '08. With the way this roster is currently put together (cintron, Ozuna, Hall, Mack, Erstad, Podsednik, 4th OF) there is NO room for a guy like Perez. The best possible scenario would be one way or another Podesdnik does not play for the '07 Sox meaning Anderson is the team's CF, Mackowiak platoons in LF with Eduardo Perez and Erstad is used as a 4th OF.
