The Gigantic all encompassing TRADE THREAD
QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) Hasn't Burnett been pretty injury prone? He's got nasty stuff, but I'm not sure I'd break the bank for the Marlins equivalent of Kerry Wood. Burnett was injured in '03 but had Tommy John's Surgery early in the season. He came back after the All-Star break of '04 and has been pretty healthy since. The TJ Surgery seems to have strengthened his elbow and his arm problems are all but gone. He's not even close to as injury prone as Wood.

The Gigantic all encompassing TRADE THREAD
QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) Buehrle Burnett Garcia Garland Contreras Agreed. Burnett>Schmidt. 4 years younger and his arm problems don't scare me like Schmidt's do. Also I hate the idea of Crede for Alfonso. It's like we're trading good young talent for 30+year old injured players.

White Sox video they show before the game
QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 11:04 AM) Copyright laws on the music prevent us from making the video public. The video is just not the same without the music so we have not posted it at Whitesox.com. I am glad you like the video. Our game operations department, including the guys that run the scoreboard worked really hard to put that together. I am very proud of it. All the best, Brooks Brooks continues to hold his place above my list of heroes. Brooks is awesome.

Lee for Podsednik/Ginter?, Rumor gaining steam (Pre Pods Trade) Lee for SPod, Vizcaino, and PTBNL, Score says its official (During Pods Trade) Rate the Trade, and post your opinion (Post Pods Trade) Things that won't happen.... My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:49 AM) You can find some gems in this thread: http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...ermanson+signed Who are you to be talking, I found this from you: > Lee for Podsednik/Ginter?, Rumor gaining steam QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Dec 13, 2004 -> 08:54 AM) :puke This would be a flat out awful trade and I'm in the minority here and actually like Pods. The only way the sox should be talking with the brewers about carlos is if sheet is available. Most likely Ben won't be availabe so kenny should just move on to a different team. :headshake

My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:35 AM) Keep 'em coming I found a classic thread. You have Santo=Dorf freaking out about a rumor that has the Sox trading for Pierzinski in November of 04. And in that same rumor they mentioned the Sox possibly signing Dye. Rotoworld had a damn good article where they predicted the 2005 Sox lineup in November of 2004. This thread should be bumped. Chicago White Sox Projected Lineup CF Aaron Rowand SS Omar Vizquel DH Frank Thomas 1B Paul Konerko RF Jermaine Dye LF Carl Everett/Brian Jordan 2B Juan Uribe C A.J. Pierzynski 3B Joe Crede Projected Rotation LHP Mark Buehrle RHP Freddy Garcia RHP Jose Contreras RHP Jerome Williams RHP Jon Garland Projected Bullpen RHP Shingo Takatsu RHP Luis Vizcaino LHP Ricardo Rincon RHP Cliff Politte

My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:19 AM) So you also browse through old threads when everyone else is gone. It's funny to go back and look at old threads just to see how stupid people are at times. I remember like 3 threads spewing hatred for Politte when he sucked during ST.

My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:16 AM) He was probally looking at ''last click''. You wouldn't believe how many weird ass threads i have seen guests looking at. I am gonna make a thread about it soon after i collect some more weird ass threads from years ago. I've been looking at old thread for about the last hour. I found this gem from Tex: QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 10:11 AM) It's all about flying under the radar If we wanted an old backup catcher, why not keep Sandy? In the end, this will not factor in a single win or loss this season. BTW, IMHO, Widger will not be here in July. This could be a giant :finger wakeup call for Davis.

My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:15 AM) I saw in the "who's online" listing that you were looking at it. I clicked into it because the title looked interesting. Oh, so you were stalking me. That answers a lot of questions.

My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:13 AM) I dunno. The title struck me as interesting. We were both in a 6 month old thread at the same time at 3 Oclock in the morning. I thought I some how bumped this thread by accident.

My dream sox team for 05
QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:10 AM) I just wanted to bump this thread for the WOW factor of this quote. Amazing what 6 months can do, huh? Why were you looking at the same thread that I was looking at 2 minutes ago?

QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 02:25 AM) Who is the guy on the left and the guy on the right in the Hogs jersey? The guy on the left appears to be Bobby Jenks, I don't know who the one on the right is.

NBA Draft Thread
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 02:09 AM) Ha, good point on Mark. Anyways, I know the draft is once a year but for me the Sox are much more important then anything else so the draft takes a back seat but I'll be following during commercials, no doubt. That's why laptops are the s***. Watch the Sox game on my Big Screen and watch live draft coverage on my notebook. f***ing lifesaver.

ross gload
QUOTE(allister624 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 01:55 AM) pauly is fine where he is, and why do you think ross will go to the DL? hes not just going to get randomly injured thats rediculous. But he did get "randomly injured" when making a throw from first base a few weeks ago. If you rush him back there's a good chance he could reinjure his shoulder.

The Gigantic all encompassing TRADE THREAD
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 12:07 AM) This is just my opinion but I think Sweeney will be better but as of right now you're exactly right, Anderson is the better player. What makes you think Sweeney will be better, what have you seen from him to make you think this?
