  1. My favorite episode of AD by far is Pier Pressure from season one. Gob gets the hot cops to scare George Micheal straight. Gob: (about the hot cops) These guys are pros, Michael. They're gonna push the tension till the last possible moment before they strip. Michael: They're not going to strip, are they? Gob: I told them not to, but I can't promise that their instincts won't kick in. Gob: What? Oh, no! It's the cops! Oh! And a .. construction worker.
  2. QUOTE(winodj @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 05:25 PM) Well, yes. But AD airs after the Simpsons every week and still gets mediocre ratings. Unfortunately, it's hardly been on this season it seems. They've had like eight episodes at most? Ya but American Dad aired after the Super Bowl. Put Arrested Developement in that time slot and I guarentee it gets similar ratings.
  3. f*** Fox, Arrested Development is the best show on TV and American Dad f***ing sucked. Did they even take into consideration the fact that American Dad aired right after the Simpsons which aired Right after the f***ing Super Bowl. Any piece of s*** show will get good ratings if its aired after the Super Bow.

  7. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 04:14 PM) A 1st and a 2nd for say Tennessee's pick would get the job done. No team is stupid enough to do that, unless they really think that that particular player puts them over the top...that never happens in the draft. EDIT: I forgot about New Orleans and Ricky. That move hurt them for a while too anyways. I'd give them next years 1st and 4th along with this years 3rd.
  8. QUOTE(qwerty @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 04:28 PM) Well that is just stupid. 2002-2003 he played 81 games. 2003-2004 he played 81 games. This year he has missed zero games. He's missed 2 games over the last 3 seasons. He's a little too injury prone.
  9. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 04:17 PM) How is Eddy gonna speak for Ilgauskas? You stole my f***ing punch line.
  10. QUOTE(qwerty @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 04:11 PM) Sarcasm i believe. I thought it was pretty obvious sarcasm but appearantly not.
  11. It's the a in pay. It's an international character.
  12. Has anyone else noticed a correlation between Gwen Stafani's song "Rich Girl" and the classic Fiddler on the Roof song "Rich man". It is the exact same song pretty much except the Stafai version is more up to date.
  13. How, is that possible? Meeow.
  14. Scott Wright updated his mock draft: Changes in the Top 10: 4th - Braylon Edwards to the Bears still 6th - Pac-Man Jones to the Titans, kind of high IMO 7th - Derrick Johnson to the Raiders, that's more like it. 9th - Mike Willams to the Redskins, he moved him up back into the top 10.
  15. QUOTE(Man Of Steel @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 03:11 PM) For the Bears to have any chance at getting BOTH those players it would take their 1st Round Pick NEXT draft and maybe more So pretty much theres no chance in hell it can happen I'd trade next seasons 1st round pick for Derrick Johnson. If that's all it would take, which i highly doubt. Derrick Johnson will be a top 8 pick.
  16. QUOTE(Man Of Steel @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 03:12 PM) yeah I know what you mean.. but he is worth the cost Hell ya he is. Probably the most clutch kicker of all time. He'll probably be the second Kicker ever inducted into the pro football hall of fame. With the first being Jan Stenerud.
  17. QUOTE(qwerty @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) They are a shoot first team, passing is secondary. Dirk had to of shot three fast break three pointers and two of them i would not consider wide open. I don't know of many team that do that besides the mavericks. They are such good shooters though they can get away with it alot of the time. The Mavs pretty much run a Div. III college offense.
