  1. 2 down. Pray we can salvage at least one of the next two. f*** you, Massett.
  2. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jul 25, 2008 -> 08:41 PM) Baseball gods, make it rain!!! Game's official.
  3. QUOTE (Sox It To Em @ Jul 25, 2008 -> 08:28 PM) Fields walks. Alexei will make things right. I'm sorry, I jinxed him.
  4. Fields walks. Alexei will make things right.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 25, 2008 -> 08:24 PM) Every other team seems to have no problem. Which means the Sox will go down 1-2-3.
  6. Rodney's ERA is 5.54 in 13 innings this year.
  7. I know Linebrink is hurt but where the hell is Thornton or Dotel.
  8. f*** why the hell is massett pitching
  9. Konerko is killing this team right now.
  10. God I love this time of year.
  11. I'm going to miss most of the game because I just have to see TDK tonight, but go Sox! It's good to have baseball back. That four-day layoff was torture.
  12. This could actually be quite awesome.
  13. -The fact that the game has evolved to the point of perfection. -Every game is different. Every game, you see something you've never seen before, be it big or small, and might not ever see again. -Because there are so many games, you get to know and become attached to players. I have never met Paul Konerko or Mark Buehrle, but I feel like they're old friends. -Nothing in sports is more suspenseful when it's the bottom of the ninth, two out, you're team is up by one and your closer is trying to get the last out with the tying and go-ahead runs at second and third. -Nothing is more exciting than a shot down the line or a screamer in the gap with the bases loaded. -Nothing is more pleasant than a successfully-executed hit and run. -It gives me something to talk about with my father and grandfather. -No matter how many times I've seen them, watching 05 highlights still brings me to tears.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 10:11 PM) I love watching him play, but I don't think it's a feel good story when he was a hardcore druggy. That's something he brought upon himself. Sorry. I agree.
  15. Dammit Paulie, need to catch that.
  16. I'm hoping the Twins take three or four or sweep. I'm sorry, but the Tigers are the team that still scares me.
  17. I'll always like Pablo but this is really the most logical action.
  18. WCIU again. Argh. Not to be pessimistic but I'd be happy with a split this series. Oakland's pitching is damn good and they always give us fits.
  19. Joe Borowski must have naked pictures of Eric Wedge or something. Guy's been washed up for what seems like years now yet he's always keeps his job as closer.
