I don't think Schoeneweis should be starting. He started off great to begin the season but then was struggling and got injured. I don't know if he's just getting tired too easily since he hasn't been a starter in the past or what. If that's the case, then the Sox need to pick up another quality starter. It doesn't have to be a 1 or 2 guy. Just someone that'll go out there and do his job.

No question about him being the one for most improvement. His season overall has been less than steller and that could be putting it nicely.

The Sox need more of what Crede showed us tonight. We all knew he had the talent in him. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for his average and productivity. With out Maggs and Frank, this team is going to rely on the shoulders on mainly Carlos and Paul. If Joe and others can step it up a notch, I have a great feeling this team will be playing come October.

Can anyone give me a link to that Sox vs. Cubs commercial that the Sox were using for selling tickets? It had stuff like They got Wood, We got Lumber and plus the mayor likes us best. If someone can just find the words and phrases, that'd be fine too. Thanks for the help.

Yeah that does make sense. I was just surprised by how many people already have bought tickets for the upcoming games also. But I guess it is Minnesota so that'll sell more. But still, great job by selling tickets Sox. Keep it up.

Why has it increased that much though? I'm glad it has and all, but it never really did when the Sox were contending in previous years.

Yeah he's a Hall of Famer in my opinion. He teared up most of the 90's and when healthy still is capable of being close to a .300 hitter with 40 home runs.

Olerud brings another lefty at bat to our team. It can't hurt to bring him in for a shot. I think it's worth the chance and best of all, it doesn't take away from the Sox farm system.

I don't think they deserve to be called rookies either.

I doubt Shingo will get it because he's a closer and doesn't play everyday and wasn't even the closer until June or so. Crosby is also having a good year.

As for the starting lineup, Rowand needs to be in. I'd prefere him over Harris in center and give Borchard the shot again at right.

I hope they don't get rid of Anderson and Sweeney. I like trying to win now, but getting rid of the farm system will do nothing for this team.

Ken Jennings is crazy. I wonder how long he'll go.

I'd want Ventura back but only if it didn't involve prospects. We could use a DH and I think he'd be ok at that. But I'd prefere to go for someone a little younger even those he's my favorite former Sox.

I hope Rowand doesn't lose playing time with this Everett trade. I don't see it happening right now. However, I could see it happening if Thomas comes back.

When is Everett supposed to join the team?

So what's going to happen if and when Thomas comes back. Will Everett go back to Center. I just don't see them keeping Rowand from that spot though. He's done a great job.
