  1. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:51 PM) i thought getting Thome and sending Frank out was a great move i was wrong Well remember the formula that everyone forgets. If Thomas is here, he isnt playing for 500k, and Konerko is an Angel. Thome+Konerko is better than Thomas.
  2. Nice jump there Gooch. What do you have lead in your shoes.
  3. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:47 PM) I think the bad ump call there changed the whole AB. Too bad. That and he is trying to jack a dong.
  4. Thanks Thome for showing up tonight. Nice f***ing approach tonight Keep it up.
  5. Nice sac fly. Time for Thome to use that wooden stick thingy he brings up to the plate to drive in the next run.
  6. Dye is up with the bases loaded. Lets go Mr MVP, crush the ball into one of the gaps and let it roll to the wall.
  7. Prancer goes the other way. 2 hits in a row. Greg must be getting a drink in the clubhouse right now.
  8. Uribe back up the middle for our 2nd hit. Prancer up. And Prancer with the most pathetic bunt attempt I have seen in a while.
  9. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:35 PM) Twins and Santana losing to the Indians and Carmona is like finding a $100 bill walking down the street. Sox losing with Garland on the mound on the same night is like giving that $100 bill to a hobo so he can buy some liquor. Actually the 2nd part is more like giving the hobo the $100 to piss all over you.
  10. QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:28 PM) Except for the last start, where he crapped his pants, Esteban has been on a roll for like 9 games. Isn't it possible that he is just pitching well... and the white sox aren't terrible pieces of crap? I guess Runnynose Hernadez was on a roll, so was Julian Tavarez, the AAA Royals stiff that pitched and got hurt in his next start, the boston lefty with 2 last names that had a 6 ERA going into our game. Pretty much anyone that would lob soft crap up there and go low and away. Our hitters cannot adjust to a pattern that has been going on since the ASB. Again we get 1-2 against a hitter, and then nibbles decides to f*** around and then get the count full. Then he has to groove one in. Pound in, and throw strikes. This team will not beat you if you make them swing the bats early. If you let them get into hitting counts they will raise your pitch count and beat you oppo.
  11. Nibbles Garland is back. Contact pitchers cannot get into hitters counts and survive. Especially against high OBP teams. Chavez is up. If you go in, go high and in.
  12. Lefties prototypical sweet spot is low and in. If you want to go in you go in and up. So we pitch the lefties low and in what to confuse them that they have a cookie to drive.
  13. 1 hit through 5. Nice job guys. Its Loaiza, not Johan guys. low and away with lots of breaking pitches shutting down our offense again. Maybe Greg can figure it how to attack low and away in what year 3 or 4 of being the hitting coach next year.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:23 PM) I would love to know how many hits we've averaged during the first 5 innings of a game over the last month. Between 2 and 4 would be my guess. All they are getting fed these days is breaking pitches, because for whatever reason they cant hit them anymore.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:19 PM) We need to find a way to get Gload in every game. He's one of the few guys hustling out there. Also, he's probably a better bet to contribute a hit at the plate than Thome is now. You could put a one legged blind nun and she would give us more production than Prancer out in LF. Gload, Mack insert batboy here is much better than the future Ex whitesox player.
  16. Time for our rotten offense to wake the f*** up. Hit the f***ing ball, stop taking pitches for strike 3. Attack the baseball. Mack you owe us another dong with your rotten defense in CF. Hit the f***ing ball.
  17. Thank God Everett didnt remain on the team, Ozzie would probably be running that one legged defensive dog out in CF.
  18. Ozzie, Oakland is a pitchers park with lots of territory. This is a park you must have your best defense out in the field. If you really want to put Mack in, I suggest the prancing stiff out in LF that provides nothing.
  19. Mackowiaks is responsible for both runs with his s***ty s***ty defense. But our coach is obsessed with appendages.
  20. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:12 PM) Once again, can't see it. Man on 2nd and 3rd both tagging. Fly ball to short RF. Dye settles under it. Then misreads it a bit, and take a small step back flat footing it, and then throws to home off his back foot. Run scores.
  21. Mack scores a run with his dong, then gives it back up with his tard defense. So basically he provided nothing tonight.
