  1. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 12:59 AM) the office (uk version) You and anyone else who enjoys the original "Office" should check out Ricky Gervais' new series, "Extras". Here is a brilliant part from a scene where Ricky is talking with Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard from Star Trek the Next Generation).
  2. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 01:16 PM) Has Dane Cook bashed him too? I like Dane Cook's stand-up more than his. Probably not. You've seen Cross' routine so you obviously know he can be quite harsh without any warrant.
  3. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 11:13 AM) hmm, I got no matches Try, 'lauren bowden'.
  4. QUOTE(sec159row2 @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 11:08 AM) be careful at this site... just noticed they also have photos of kathy bates :puke why does bobby's daughter have to be "quite old" ? He is 76 years old? I guess you meant Tommy.
  5. Bobby Bowden's daughter would be quite old..
  6. If he took the time to read Larry's book he may as well go ahead and write a response, you know? I doubt it took him all that long anyways.
  7. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 12:34 AM) Good luck finding a guy with more AB's than Anderson who faced a tougher group of pitchers. I don't think he exists. Poor Joe Dillon.
  8. QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 12:32 AM) Fish these guys then. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/spli...2&type=batting3 Yeah that's '03-'05, they just didn't tell you.
  9. QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 12:22 AM) Jim thome from 2002-2004 hit .260 He didn't hit at or below .260 in '02, '03, or '04...
  10. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Dec 2, 2005 -> 12:15 AM) How the hell did you figure that out? I'm wondering the same thing. Is there a site that does this for you? Or did you spend a buttload of time on it? You have to weight it depending on how many AB's he had against each pitcher and also finding how all batters had fared against each pitcher at the point in time Anderson faced them is no easy task.
  11. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Dec 1, 2005 -> 11:20 PM) How do you leave a guy that open and play with a 4 man front line. Inexcusable. F'ing losers.
  12. Good to hear your hands weren't damaged. I was afraid we wouldn't be getting anymore wallpapers.
  13. The problem is no one will give up much in terms of prospects for only one guaranteed year of Jon Garland.

    music

    QUOTE(The Critic @ Dec 1, 2005 -> 04:37 PM) I had to do the long wait for the Face To Face farewell show. At least I was entertained by the F2F kids whining about My Chemical Romance opening up. I had heard of MCR before that show, but hadn't heard their music. So I asked one of the kids what they were like and he says to me: "You like vampires?" "I can take 'em or leave 'em - why?" "Their gay-ass singer thinks he's a vampire!" At which point the little MCR girls wheel around and start screeching at this kid, "DON"T make fun of him, he's awesome and he looks better than you so what the hell are you talking about, you must be jealous cuz he gets all the girls and you stand with your ugly friends in the back of the club"..... Highlight of the night until F2F hit the stage. He's not oh-f***ing-kay, alright?
  15. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Dec 1, 2005 -> 04:12 PM) If we're not able to lock Jon up, trading Gio and Haigwood is defintely gonna hurt us down the road. You don't know this.
  16. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 11:03 PM) Dude, Ace Ventura Part 1 is a god damn comedic masterpiece. An absolute staple of my DVD collection. [Aguado stomps on a cockroach.] Aguado: Homicide, Ventura. Now how ya gonna solve that one? Ace Ventura: Good question, Aguado. First, I'd establish a motive. In this case the killer saw the size of the bug's DICK and became insanely jealous. Then I'd lose 40 pounds… PORKIN' his wife. I love this quote.
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 10:15 PM) Uuum, we want to know if you got free pop ya goof-troop! C-switches were no option for me.
  18. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 10:02 PM) Did it work? Yes. I got SALE, VER, EROR, and RTN. All I could do was scroll through them.
  19. QUOTE(qwerty @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 08:57 PM) He is one of my favorite players in the league. I said before last year that i think he will bust out soon and i still think it will happen, but the chances are not as likely if he stays in such a s*** offensive park. I think once he get out of rfk he will put up some big offensive numbers. The year he gets traded he will asplode in my opinion. Just wish we could get our hands on him some how. It's not just RFK either. He gets a little break in Philly, but the NL East isn't good for your slugging percentage. Shea and Dolphin stadiums are cavernous and Turner most would call a pitchers park as well.
  20. He would be a whole lot better than Pierre. I doubt the Nats will trade him but I know him and Frank Robinson had kind of a falling out. His defense in CF is above average to anyone wondering. He would fit very nicely in the 2 hole being a high OBP guy. In a down year with injuries he was still above average.
  21. ::running downstairs to try it out::
