  1. How do you haters like that play by Willie?
  2. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 08:08 PM) FOCK YOU PODS Stop posting.
  3. He thrusted his hips into it while leaning back and got hit in the nuts.
  4. Strikes out the side with about 20 pitches.
  5. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 07:01 PM) What's the visit to the mound for. Gameday is saying there's a visit. Think the pitching coach was just upset he walked Pods on four straight pitches.
  6. Nice job Count to get out of that jam. Too bad the ass at third made him throw 10 extra pitches.
  7. Wow, only the 2nd before we get a bad call from the ump.
  8. Am I the only one who feels okay with Willie at short? I think he'll be fine.
  9. Dye was dropped a spot and Crede was moved up one. We're making progress!

    Lew Ford

    QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 04:36 PM) I f***ing hate Lew Ford. .
  11. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 02:30 PM) Neyer confuses me. Didn't he write an article in like February that bashed the sox and then last month picked them to win the division. Now he writes an article about why they won't win it. I'm confused. He's just making sure that no matter what happens, he will be able to point to at least one of his articles and say, "I was right".
  12. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 11:34 AM) Dispite what the records say, Oakland and Minnesota are the only "good" teams we have played. Seattle I could accept as good, but they were also missing their best hitter at the time, and we ducked their best pitchers. Detroit, Cleveland, and KC just flat out suck. I don't buy that. Of the "sucky" teams we've faced Millwood (2), Westbrook, Bonderman, Ledezma (not great stats, but given us problems), and Grienke. Franklin is one of Seattle's best pitchers right now (2nd best I'd say), and we found a way to win that one. Last time I checked, Sexson wasn't Seattle's best hitter either. Let's not take anything away from the Sox by saying they've played s***ty teams, because they haven't. We still have a chance to equal and better the best April in the organization's history. Also, being "only" 2.5 games ahead of the Twins isn't half bad considering 30% of their games have been against the worst team in baseball.
  13. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 11:22 AM) I am still not convinced we will win the AL Central either. We have played weak teams, and are still only 2 1/2 games ahead of a 2nd half team. It isn't hard to imagine the Twins winning the Central IMO. And based on history, you know the Twins will have a big run in them. We might have already seen ours. 4 out of the 6 teams we played are .500 or over. I'd say we've played one weak team.
  14. Wow, Garland is on the front page of epsn.com. Below him is an article written by Neyer about why we won't win the AL Central.

    Could be worse ...

    Some would consider that a blessing. The lesbian thing I mean.
  16. Just get Gio on it somewhere...

    We're #1!

    Don't forget CBS Sportsline.
  18. Does this guy have a personal vendetta against Hawk? Like he is being any more professional than Harrelson by pinning him as a reason the Sox are the worst team to root for. What a douchebag.
  19. Man, what a catch! And she's not bad either.
  20. QUOTE(JimH @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 08:49 PM) Wendelstedt needs to grow a thicker skin and not try to show everybody how big his stones supposedly are. This is the growing trend that I can't stand. Umpires are jumping at every chance to puff out their chests. Today's game was a prime example.
