uppers, lowers, or all four at once? Uppers are a breeze usually, lowers are horrible.

2006 White Sox Catch-All Thread
LosMediasBlancas replied to greasywheels121's topic in 2006 Season in Review
QUOTE(whitesoxin @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 11:18 AM) Wait, everyone doesn't know how? I usually do the scoring in my head to make sure the machine doesn't screw up because at the bowling alley I go to it's notorious for messing up the scoring. Trot Nixon was 0-9. 4 K's, 5 LOB. OUCH!! Bad day to have a bad day. That'll plummet your BA. WOW, I just realized that Brian Anderson and batting average are abbreviated the same way. There's a joke in the somewhere, but I'm not clever enough to reel it in. -

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 10:46 AM) It's not THAT difficult... Actual on an open, 10+1 on a spare, and 10+2 on a strike. I'm not sure about bowling, but get enough beers in me at a Sox game and scoring (the game) would be otta the question. -

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 03:41 PM) Oye.. you are hopeless. Generic directions are ON the scorecard itself. Hey, I'm not the geek that scores the game instead of watching and enjoying it. I was just asked for help. -

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 02:44 PM) Box score lazy ass.. :finger Someone I know recently has started filling out score cards at the game and then brings them to me, like I know WTF I'm doing. Is there somewhere on line that actually shows you a filled out score card like the one you get at the park? -

How many times did A.J. strike out yesterday over the 19 innings? -
I used to think I really hated Red Sox fans, then I realized all the reasons had nothing to do with Red Sox fans. Everyone I met in Boston and at Fenway was cool, knowlegeable and very interested in Chicago.

Got up at 6:00, came to work. Can't remember the last time I slept til 11:00, it sounds awesome. -
B. What bothers me most is the poor fundamentals and execution.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 01:14 AM) I don't think there's much hope for Wood. If his arm isn't completely shot, I'll be completely shocked. Prior's a different story. Not considering potential lack of roids/HGH, he is intriguing. Still relatively young, not nearly as many arm problems as Wood, and he's fallen off the radar a little bit. I still am not sure I'd do either, just due to the injury risk, but it's worth a post on a message board anyways. Is Prior signed through 08? I'm starting to believe that Prior just doesn't want to pitch for the Cubs any more.

The team showed a lot of heart today, nice win. -
Slight tear in Kerry Wood's rotator cuff?
-
Um, no. Put me down as not concerned. These threads always come down to the same thing. Is the glass half full or half empty? Are you pessimistic or optimistic? Luckily, they'll play the second half and we'll find out where this team ends up.

Soccer Tips: Any advice for a goalkeeper?
LosMediasBlancas replied to Gregory Pratt's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Wear your team's colors. Not sure why goalies wear totally different colors from the rest of the team. Is it so we can tell them apart ? -
QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 02:06 PM) Dude looks nothing like Jordan. Oh, wait, he shaves his head, too - THAT must be the resemblance. Nope, he shaves his head AND also happens to be black, THAT'S the resemeblance.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:59 PM) So, Jermaine kilt that ball. Just missed the fan deck. I'm waiting for someone to put one there.
-
Freddy looking good, 3 innings and no long ball.
-
eh, if any of them get otta line just ask them what's left to do with their life in Boston since the Red Sox won the WS.
-
Don't worry, there will be a lot less of them this year since most of them were bandwagonners in 04.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 10:58 AM) Because Christian Bale is dreamy I guess, but the character is phukd up.

Hermanson could be back by the end of the month...

It scares me to think that Hermy is even considered a possibilty for this pen. Are there really no other options? -
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that at some point in tonight's ball game the White Sox will give Mark the lead and he will give it RIGHT back.
