  1. I find myself saying 'c'mon Scottie' whenever he's up
  2. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 31, 2005 -> 09:10 PM) I think thongs are the sexiest things a girl can wear. Comfortable, too I'll have to take your word for it on the comfort thing, but only a chick with a great ass can get away with cheeky panties...thongs are on their way out.
  3. Is Marte really doing well?......or is he just doing better than s***go?
  4. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 02:05 AM) I've said it to countless people before but the metra rail would make a s***load of money if their rock island route would just put a stop by the cell. I mean it goes RIGHT by the stadium ont he side of the ryan but doesn't stop there. I know i'd take that everytime instead of paying 17 for parking. ......$17.00 for parking, then add gas prices nowadays and that's the price of another ticket to another game.
  5. IIRC, there are no beer vendors in any of the seats at Fenway.
  6. Which is sexier thongs or those 'cheeky' panties?
  7. How exactly do you wash and dry a camera with your clothes?..........is it really tiny?
  8. QUOTE(knightni @ May 31, 2005 -> 05:25 PM) Worst. Topic. Yet. LMAO.
  9. I smell bulls***......and I don't mean by anyone on this board.
  10. QUOTE(southsideirish @ May 31, 2005 -> 04:26 PM) When did they clarify this? Because all this morning they were playing the clip and Tom Shaer kept on saying that is why they didn't use Dustin Hermanson to close the game yesterday. I am not doubting you, but where did you hear this clarified at? I never heard the clarification either and based on the quote I heard from Ozzie, clearly he must have been talking about Hermanson. I'd have to listen to it again.
  11. I was flying into Chicago at night Watching the lake turn the sky into blue-green smoke The sun was setting to the left of the plane And the cabin was filled with an unearthly glow In 27-D I was behind the wing Watching landscape roll out Like credits on a screen The earth looked like it was lit from within Like a poorly assembled electrical ball as we moved Out of the farmlands into the grid The plan of the city was all that you saw And all of these people sitting totally still As the ground raced beneath them thirty thousand feet down It took an hour, maybe a day But once I really listened, the noise Just went away .....Liz Phair.
  12. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 31, 2005 -> 03:58 AM) I take my girlfriend's bra off with one hand all the time. I really don't understand why some people have so much trouble. Because they rush, like it's gonna get away, amatuer move.
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ May 31, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) I think that's how most parks operate. Wrigley doesn't sell SRO unless everything else is sold out. I would guess it's on a game by game basis as you said. Makes sense, thx.
  14. I cannot stop listening to 'The Blue Van'-The art of rolling. I also saw those guys Sunday night and they are even better live. The new Garbage is growing on me, still diggin the latest Bloc Party too.
  15. QUOTE(knightni @ May 31, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) You heard wrong. They clarified later that Ozzie was talking to Herm Schneider about Frank Thomas. That's a strange mix up, when you consider the 2 situations aren't really related, but oh well.
  16. QUOTE(knightni @ May 31, 2005 -> 03:14 PM) Dustin's okay as far as I know. It was just another Ozzie brain-cramp. Good news, Ozzie botched a few things yesterday it seems.
  17. QUOTE(Steff @ May 31, 2005 -> 03:04 PM) They've done it the past 4 years for OD and Cubs/Sox. They also did it last year for the Giants series. So, they'll do it if there is the demand on a per game basis? Thx.
  18. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ May 31, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) I misheard it the same way. He was talking about Frank, and "Hermy" was Herm Schneider saying that Frank was too tight to keep playing. Hermanson's fine. I heard it this morning on AM 1000 and before they played Ozzie's quote, they said that Hermy was warming and then said he (Hermy) was tight and couldn't go.
  19. QUOTE(I-HATE-CREDE @ May 31, 2005 -> 02:43 PM) Actually, Comiskey is the perfect place to sell standing room only, with the huge open concourse where you can easily veiw the game. I understand that, but that doesn't mean they do. I remember a couple of years ago someone in line in front of me asked for SRO tix and the girl at the box office told them "we don't sell SRO at this park". What's the price of the SRO tix? Do you have access to the lower bowl? Anyone know?
  20. I didn't think the Cell sold 'standing room only' tix.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 31, 2005 -> 02:01 PM) There is nothing wrong with the El, if it works for your situation. Its just some dopes perpetuating stereotypes... To each his own. The way I see, I'll save the money on parking and gas and ride the El. It sux getting home no matter how you slice it, you might as well save a little loot. That's just me though.
  22. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 31, 2005 -> 01:01 AM) I'd love an all ALCentral ALCS. That'd be great... It would be awesome, except for having to listen to 'experts' like Gammons tell us how boring the teams in the series are and how the NL team will destroy them.
  23. I know this was kinda touched on in other threads, but what's the truth about Hermy in yesterday's game? I heard Ozzie say that after warming up, he wasn't ready to go because he felt 'tight'. This seems rare to me, is it a cause for concern? Anyone have an update?
  24. QUOTE(GASHWOUND @ May 31, 2005 -> 02:48 AM) We're gonna have to cause I just looked at a stretch we have in the dog days of August starting on the 8th.. @NY @NY @NY, @BOS @BOS @BOS, MIN, MIN, MIN, NY, NY, NY, @MIN @MIN @MIN Uhh, we're gonna need some cushion before we start that stretch.. :headshake I was just gonna say, THAT 3 week period will make or break us.
  25. What's wrong with the 'El"???? I think it's one the best, truly Chicago experiences. Yes, the wait can be lengthy and the trains will be full leaving the game, but the few times I've driven to the game, it took me a lot longer to get home that way. Getting to my car sucked, getting out of the lot sucked, getting on the highway sucked AND I paid a s***load more than what the train costs.
