  1. Southside, from what I undertsnad, he's had that hip problem for a looooong time, it was just kept hush hush. Steff, that's certainly possible, but I just don't see evidence of it on the rest of his physique.
  2. If Pauly is on the juice, he's being ripped off. First of all, he's built like mover, not a pro athlete. Furthermore, roids would mean stronger thigh muscles, which would result in speed. Why do you think so many track athletes use them? Pauly? Nope, not juicing, he's too damn slow.
  3. I'm with you, but of course none of those players are currently with the White Sox, right? Riiiiiiight. From what I've been told from people who have use roids, you have to be pretty careless to test positive for roids.
  4. After reading the 1st line, I thought the story was heading in another direction.
  5. Most roid testing is a joke, there are always 'masking agents' that will make the results inconclusive. Athletes are always 2 steps ahead of the game, the Balco story is a perfect example.
  6. Not neccesarily, you still have to put the bat on the ball.
  7. I'd guess not Borchard, kinda big, but kinda thick too, not shapely enough for juice.
  8. AKA 'Stripper Voice", I swear they all have it.
  9. Yeah, that's it, Timo
  10. I wasn't thinking Carlos. He just doesn't have the right shape that gives it away. He's naturally a thick guy and has some fat on him.
  11. 2 thoughts: Why get a hooker and not a woman at a bar? As Charlie Sheen so eloquently put it when his name came up during the Heidi Fleisch scandal "I don't pay to GET a woman, I pay so that she goes away afterward". Secondly, it only cost him $40.00 for the 'favor'. I think if he throws her an extra $100.00 she woulda said she was his girlfriend. I mean they weren't caught IN the act, right.
  12. 50% of MLB. Just because they're not 250 lbs. of muscle doesn't mean they don't juice. Besides the obvious, my guesses are: Joe Borowski Clemens a certain current White Sox outfielder
  13. No, but there is an explanation for almost everything.
  14. It states that 25 million suffer from it "to some degree". Ever heard people complain about dark, rainy days and how it makes them want to stay in bed all day? That's a slight form of it. In extreme cases, they use the light therapy.
  15. This might be more related to people who go into deep depression in the winter since they do not recieve enough sunlight, rather than Holiday blues. As therapy they have to sit under bright lights a few hours a day.
  16. Mike, Mike, Mike, tsk tsk tsk.
  17. Maybe he thought you were hot and you caught his eye.
  18. But if the goal of a baseball player is to gain strength, wouldn't using a steroid that minimizes size also mean less strength gains?
  19. pretty good, it took me a second, lol.
  20. Why would a baseball player care about being cut? It's all about getting stronger.
  21. It's hard to explain, but once you've been around guys that juice or if you've ever juiced yourself, you can ALWAYS look at a guy and tell if he's juicing. It's soemthing about the build. McGuire and Sammy I bet were on the hard stuff like Decca or D Bol. Bonds and Giambi look like they've been on some new and improved s***.
  22. I think there are some apparently obvious users, but I bet close to 50% of all players have used. I guy might be 210 lbs, that's not neccesarily freakishly huge, so he doesn't draw attention, but maybe without the juice, he's only 185 lbs. It would be sweet for the Cubs to be stuck with Sammy and THEN for him to get busted, that would be perfect.
  23. What do you think the signs at the stadium will say when he pitches on the road? Come up with any good ones??
  24. Ultimately, I agree with you, but I also believe that it is unrealistic.
  25. Was that ever MLB's policy on roids though? Were players told that if they were suspected of juicing, they could be tested for it at any given time or face consequences?
