I've seen acouple of good French films on DVD recently, 'Amelie' is not bad, 'Love me if you dare' is very well made.

I wouldn't call it lowballing, I'd say we offer what's fair. The problem is that JR has yet to realize that you HAVE to overpay.

I saw "Sideways" over the weekend. Not bad, superficially it's a comedy, with some pretty good issues underneath. Anyone seen "Closer" yet?

I still believe there is a real good chance that Sammy will be moved. The Cubs might have to take it in the azz on the deal, but it can be done. They are pretty close to having all the pieces in place, why fall short now? Even if they get stuck with Sammy, they should still go after and get Beltran. They have the $$$.

Sorry kids, but it just sounds like his agent trying to hike the price. Clement already knows where he's going, it's just a matter of getting the $$$ up. In terms of that last line, sure it sounds like he's hinting about the Sox, but if you're another team and you read that, you're probably gonna throw even more cash at him to try to chnge his mind. KW better smarten up and get Perez....... while he still can.......maybe.

I would think the fact that Kenny is even looking into his clubhouse problems probably means NO. More importantly, is this a higher pirority over an arm? Land the arm, then play around with the change.

Wasn't it more than just comments? Numerous people in SF said he didn't want to go over game prep with the starters. Supposedly, he also said he was only interested in the Twins and to see how they were doing. I bet the Twins would have nice things to say about him.

ask his most recent former teammates about him. I would be suprised if KW signed him, he seems to have little or no tolerance for personality issues.
