I'm not nearly as excited about the American Pie series as you are. I was rating them as they compare to one another. All the ones I listed are the best of what has been out recently, none are classics. Now 'the Big Lebowski'.......that's funny. I think the entire 'comedy' genre in pop films has slipped a lot recently. We are SO desperate to laugh and find something funny that we over rate some medicore films just because there's nothing better being made. I wonder how much that is helping. There are some regions where they have no passable roads, no water, no food, no power, no telecommunication. How do you help them? You'd almost have to give up on those people and go wherever you might be able to save some lives. You have to use the time and money wisely.

It's very simple people. It's all about the "impact', NOT the 'intent'. If I use a slur of some kind, it's completely irrelevant how it makes ME feel. What matters is how it impacts the people who hear it. It's really no different than when you don't swear around kids or older people, it's respect. It's about being accountable for the things that come out of your mouth. I believe people who use slurs know EXACTLY what they are saying and they hide beyond all this 'freedom of speech, I'm just not PC crap'. To say that you don't care what impact it has on others, simply makes you an insentive prick. Sorry, ya ain't foolin' me.

What's the goal of every AL team? To get to the WS, right? How many times have the Yanks gotten there in the past 10 years or so? How many times have we? So indirectly, by beating up on the rest of the AL, including teams that beat us, of course they have kept the Sox and most other AL teams from getting there.
