Question for ya: If you were Beltran and assuming the money was right, why would you join the Sox over some of the other teams that are interested in you?

I don't really care what color the seats are. If people were using the color of the seats as an excuse for not coming to more games, guess what?...those people STILL will not be coming to more games. It's interesting though that some people used to complain that the Cell was drab and had no life to it. Some of those same people want to remove the bright blue seats (the most vibrant, colorful thing about the park) and replace them with dark green ones. Whats the cost for this anyway?

After the Vizquel and Guzman flops, I began to wonder, what advantage do the Sox have over other teams in terms of appeal to free agents? More Money? Nope Better chance to win? nope Great city? yes, but big deal. How would you go about attracting the RJs and Beltrans on the market?

you're right, it didn't suck,.... not overall, but it was very frustrating to see how they were THAT close to being so much better. They sucked at doing some very fundamental things at critical times that should have resulted in more wins and propelled them into the post season.

I'm willing to take a chance that Konerko doesn't put those numbers up again. If he does, good for him, as long as we get something back for him, I'll be happy. Hudson would be enough for me.
