  10. My team would be good if I didn't have 5+ guys on the DL to start the season. Thanks Reyes and Nomar!!!

Probably because they are trying to dump salary and they are dismanteling their team. Smoltz wants to go to a contender, they can't afford their FA's anymore and want to rebuild. But, I guess that point doesn't matter since it doesn't fit your argument against Jones.
  13. I believe Rowand played 2 days ago to pinch hit and went 2-3 against lefty relievers, that is about all he is good for. Platoon man.
  14. When you throw 100mph it isn't going to have much movement at all. It is natural air dynamics. I remember reading a post on a different site and a book being mentioned about this. When a pitch goes in the mid to upper 90's it doesn't create a lot of movement.
  15. I'm not surprised that he got straightened out with the Mets and Peterson. Rick was the same guy that was around when we had a great pitching staff in the early 90's if I am not mistaken.
  16. Yeah, the new commerical was great. I would like to meet you guys some time too. Me and like 7 or 8 other guys went and we got there around 4:30 to tailgate. We got sec 105 row 28. Not too bad. Was fun to heckle Abreau atleast.

I was there, great game. 33,000+ in attendance and the cubs had a home game as well. I really enjoyed the game.
  18. I'm drawing a blank, what happened to their vaunted pitching staff last year when we took 4 out of 6 from guys like Clement? Can you refresh me Brando
  19. This really hurts. I watched most of the game and then was driving over to AMC 30 over in Barrington and listening to the game on the radio. Gload had just hit his single to bring us up 4-2. I figure everything is in hand and go meet my friends in the theatre and go see my movie. I drive home and turn on ESPN and the highlight just began of our game. I then see Billy blow the game and I can not say in words how angry I am right now. That was the biggest s*** I have seen in a long time. Just to keep this thing rolling...... :fyou Koch
  20. Losing 3 out of 4 to Tampa at home is gaining?
  21. I think you put it perfectly Murcie
