  1. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 02:09 PM) I'd like to see how Marshall Henderson trolls in the the tourney anyways. Did you see what he said yesterday about wanting to make a run in the tourney so he could get his money? Awesome.
  2. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 12:44 PM) Yeah, but Louisville's losses are pretty legit. So are Indiana's, though. No bad losses, anyway. Doesn't really matter, we'll find out in 3 hours.
  3. Went back and looked it up. Only road win at Syracuse could touch IU's wins at Ohio State, at Michigan State and at Michigan. Louisville's best wins: Neutral court win over Missouri Home win over Marquette Road win at Syracuse Home win over Notre Dame Won Big East Tournament (includes neutral court wins over Notre Dame and Syracuse) Regardless, my last point from above still applies. Being in the Midwest is gravy, in no way is it an excuse to underperform.
  4. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 09:13 AM) BTW, does Louisville have the midwest regional now instead of IU? NOT COOL. I would think the outright winner of the toughest conference in the country would get it, but nooooo. I meant to go back and look at Louisville's schedule to remind myself of any good wins/bad losses they had. In any case, it's not like being somewhere besides the Midwest regional is an excuse to do poorly. Step up.
  5. Why were they both smiling so much? You're Tom Crean and Bo Ryan, you don't like each other! Get feisty!
  6. Alright, Indiana. Six games. That's all it is. Six games for a sixth banner. Want to leave a mark? Six. f***ing. Games. That's your goddamn mark.
  7. Hey let's stop playing terribly, k? Just no bueno.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 01:31 PM) Watford almost hurt himself on that flop Yeah, I noticed and was not amused.
  9. By the way, all my anger is directed at CBS for this clusterf***, not C-USA.
  10. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 01:18 PM) F*ck C-USA!!!!! They can eat donkey feces. WHAT THE HELL. THE GAME STARTED FORTY SIX f***ING MINUTES AGO. I MISSED NEARLY THE ENTIRE FIRST HALF.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 12:01 PM) F*** that S*** and win this F***ing game. THE PASSION. Aaron Rowand would be proud.
  12. How good of a fit would Collins be at NW? Read on his wiki page he was the first ever player at Glenbrook North to play college basketball. Seems unlikely, even if it meant D-1 only.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 11:10 AM) Lets just get this out of the way. f*** you Rex. Now good luck. On Wisconsin. Rooting for Wisconsin for any particular reason, or you'd just rather face them than Indiana? I don't think there's any pressure on Indiana today. The #1 seed in the Midwest should be locked up already. Only way it MAYBE isn't is if Indiana gets crushed today and Louisville wins the Big East Tournament. Even then I think Indiana would still have it.
  14. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 01:16 PM) Yeah, I can't wait to watch NC St/Virginia either. It's coming up at 1:30 on ESPN2!
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 01:12 PM) Legit question, do people really call Bloomington btown? I've never heard of it outside of Bloomington, but yes, it is very much a thing within Bloomington. I have a t-shirt that says B-Town, there are license plates with it, stores use it in their titles, etc.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 01:10 PM) SO if you are Indiana, would you rather play Michigan or Wisconsin next? Wisconsin. Hard to beat a team three times in one season. And as bonus, I want to get rid of that terrible streak against the Badgers.
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 01:00 PM) Just hope Crean doesn't cut the nets down, Michigan/Wisconsin have to play in a half hour. INDIANA IS BACK BTT QUARTERFINAL CHAMPS #1 HOOSIERS!!! #BANNERSIX #BTOWN4LYFE
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 12:38 PM) Go f*** yourself.
  19. Everybody's pretty much getting along today, what's wrong
  20. QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 12:27 PM) Keep feeding McLaurin, he's much stronger than Zeller. I actually think this is why Zeller won't do too well at the next level. His game is too predicated on the fast break and not so much in the half-court offense or defense. Eh, if his midrange game is as good as I think it can be, he'll be fine.
  21. QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 12:13 PM) Yeah, I could go that low provided he displayed a likelihood to succeed at the school. In the end, you have to ask if this person would be able to be a good-as-normal student if he were let in and especially if he left the team. That's true. A lot of people who can't get into Stanford or Northwestern would still be successful students at those places.
  22. QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 12:03 PM) Me neither. I might be a NU student in a year or so, and I wouldn't want it that way unless it was only a little bit. I was a college athlete so I understand that everyone's grades take some hit from the time commitment, but I wouldn't want guys that would never even think to apply getting into the school. Not fair to everyone else. But if you were marginal, a close miss type applicant I don't mind your special talents getting you in. Agree with this. I could maaaaybe even go slightly below that. For example, Matt Lottich supposedly had a 26 on his ACT when he went to Stanford. A 26 isn't going to get you even sniffed at for regular Stanford admissions, but it shows you're fairly intelligent.
  23. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 11:57 AM) That's basically what they do. Sometimes it works out and they get Michael Thompson, John Shurna or Drew Crawford. Much more often, they end up with Sterling Williams, Nick Fruendt, Jeff Ryan or Mike Cappocci. It's really hard to compete in the Big Ten when you typically only have 3 or 4 guys that belong in the league. And Michigan definitely runs a variation of the Princeton, they play with their center up high and rely on driving/cuts. They allow a lot more improvisation because their players are actually good. I was thinking recently, whatever happened to him?
