  1. Like to see Danks get that win tonite. All three games are on the Fox NW channel, which I get, but they are the Seattle announcers. You take what you can get though
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 01:23 PM) He was while he was up here. Did he even throw pitch in anger while up here?
  3. calm down gentlemen> at least they are trying to bring a winner to chicago
  4. jake looked unhittable and was through three> i can"t remember a year where everything that can go wrong with this team does and every mistake is so magnified
  5. why are we sniping at teahen? we knew he was going to be called up after his rehab
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 03:59 AM) I can't believe he's actually completely, physically finished. But yeah, at this point there's no way he's coming close to his career numbers. What year was it that PK was struggling so bad? Actually looking back he had two off years 2003 and 2008. I do think Dunn will rebound, but he won't have any 40 homers. But, watching him right now is painful. He is an automatic out and we find a glimmer of hope when he gets an infield single, That's just plain wrong.
  7. Good to see PK in the lineup.
  8. I predict he will be back!
  9. They showed his three plays on BBTN and he was being praised. He does look good in the field and when you keep the other team from scoring with the glove then it makes up a lot for a lack of hitting. But, I think that will come around. I like the way he goes to right and right center a lot and doesn't try to be the big bopper
  10. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 09:18 PM) God, I hope you're wrong. Teahen's presence on the roster may be the main thing keeping Dayan from helping us. KW has thrown away so much cash recently, that a swallowing of Teahen's horrific deal seems bigger than it would otherwise. Sad. For awhile there I didn't know what team KW was most fascinated with: The Royals or the DBacks.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 09:01 PM) We're also facing a LHP today, and Teahen was nearly Adam Dunn bad against LHP last year. Think they might call him up after the game? He would have to rush to get back to Chitown. You are correct about Teahen and the lefty thing. I didn't even consider that. But, as we knew, it doesn't appear Viciedo is on the way up either. I don't expect it for quite awhile do you?
  12. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 19, 2011 -> 06:23 PM) Dunn would have to go on a helluva stretch to hit 40 HR by seasons end. I am looking forward to it
  13. Interesting. We don;'t need all the pitchers since they all had Thursday off, but who are we to question...
  14. 1. Pierre, LF 2. Ramirez, SS 3. Quentin, DH 4. Konerko, 1B 5. Pierzynski, C 6. Rios, CF 7. Lillibridge, RF 8. Beckham, 2B 9. Morel, 3B That is the line up as taken from the Chisox website. No Dunn to hit lefty against a yound lefty. Absolutely no confidence apparently in his ability to hit any lefty. Lilli in right and Q to DH
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 05:04 PM) We should be seeing Teahen for Marquez anytime now. Waiitng. I got on the Score broadcast over I-Tunes but there is nothing being said yet
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 01:19 AM) Remarkable how 2 seasons in a row we've wanted Teahen to stay on rehab assignment longer. Is that saying something or what?
  17. I had Konerko, but I think he will sit today with that wrist situation so I am going with Ramirez
  18. QUOTE (Springfield SoxFan @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 12:02 AM) Be careful, it is Teahen and not Teahan, someone "jumped my kitchen" on that same type earlier this year. With that, Bruney is down. But there seems to be hints via the Score that a larger move is coming. How much longer can Teahen be on his rehab assignment? I think he was scheduled to come back and Ozzie wanted him ready to play a variety of positions. OF, IB and 3B. Now I don't get the SCORE so I won't rule out a major move, but really who is available to fill a need we have? Maybe relief pitching, but we need a posiiton player and even though they all haven't performed to expectations there aren't many choices.
  19. I am thinking Teahan is back Friday. Anyone hear different. Who goes down? Bruney maybe? Any other moves possible. Forget Viciedo as I am sure he satys in the minors untila t least mid-July or later
  20. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jun 2, 2011 -> 10:42 PM) Nice. Some would rather give 50% and save the rest for another time
