  1. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 08:50 PM) Enjoy your break as the AL Central leaders. Love it!
  2. we sure wonded that game for sure right there
  3. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 04:27 PM) Sorry to correct you here but he actually said they were playing the best AGAINST their AL Central opponents, and was saying the Tigers & White Sox need to improve their play within the division if they are going to win it. But yes, generally I agree these morons say some pretty stupid things sometimes... I feel very strongly both ways about this I was sure I heard what I heard or is it just wanted I wanted to hear
  4. four defensive DP's by Sox is a good thing
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 08:42 PM) KC seems better at coming back against the Sox than any other team in baseball. They give us fits for sure
  6. QUOTE (mcgrad70 @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 08:41 PM) Dan Hudson looks like another great career minor leaguer. I have no faith in Williams developing pitchers he drafts. Too bad, we're going to really miss Peavy. We have traded away Richards, Ely and Gonzalez just to name three who haven't done all that bad. I hope Hudson is just experiencing nerves and will show us something in his next satrt, if he gets one
  7. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 08:39 PM) into the 9th, 6-3, Twins. That is good!
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 08:35 PM) He was a two pitch pitcher, and his fastball was flat and getting destroyed. One thing is that he doesn't have a lot of sink on his fastball. Great job Pena! The million dollar question is then do we stick with him as #5 or look for a trade?
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 08:37 PM) I wouldn't mind seeing Bobby in the 9th of this one, no matter if it is a save situation or not. Hopefully we can get another inning or two out of Tony, and can stretch the lead to Linethreet territory. He hasn't pitched alot the last couple weeks so I agree a few pitches in he 9th wouldn't hurt Jenks
  10. Let the bullpen rule and offense get some more runs
  11. I left for abit with score 8-1 ans come bqack to 8-5. This was not a pretty game for the kid Hudson I see
  12. I think FATHOM WAS right Viciedo hits the ball HARD!
  13. I think getting Andruw some at bats and a little Walker paid off big time #400
  14. The way this team is clicking I am almost sorry to see the all-star break here
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 06:41 PM) Hopefully Hudson's nerves calm down here soon and he gets into a groove. I am hoping that until he does he is efectively wild
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 06:40 PM) Agreed, but that also means he hits the ball hard a lot. That's waht I am hoping and the hits come. He has showed power
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 06:36 PM) Viciedo has a lot of Juan Uribe in his swing. He strikes me as prone for the GIDP a lot right now
  18. That appeared to be an interesting DP
  19. Thanks for you observations. Using the computer gameday sucks
  20. I have to use Gameday for this game, but it looks like the ump is squeezing Hudson on the strike zone. Comments?
  21. My advise to the kid Hudson was not to walk folks but to set up the DP is ok I guess
  22. Who scripts these characters anyway? I think it was Rod Allen on Fox yesterday for the Twinkies-Tigers game who made some goofy comment towards the end of the broadcast when talking about the AL Central "The Twins are playing the best baseball in the division and everyone should watch out for the Twins" or something very similar to that. Where has this guy been? I certainly believe the best ball in maybe both leagues is being played by the Chiago White Sox!
  23. Let's hope our rookie pitching prospect does good and shows why we should stay inside the organization when filling needs. Get er done
