When you are 6.5 games behind and just got shellacked 20-1 I think it is important to start winning all the ball games you can, if you really want to compete for that title

Why would you ever root for the Cubs and why would you ever wish ill on another person over a baseball game? Jake Peavey didn't want to come to the southside and that's his loss and the Cubs are the Cubs so enough said there. Let's move on

Peavy isn't coming to the Southside and that's his loss. We have a great organization and are competive and won a World Series championship. When did Peavy and SD last win it? Nough said let's move on

Lots of blame to go around, if you are into the blame game thing.. which many of us are for sure. Hard not to be really upset and discouraged though after a game like this

Wilson Betemit failed to make up for the 8 unearned runs scored because of his two errors

Kudos to DJ to step up and stop the bleeding. He held the score at 20 to 0 and now we have a run and can get a rally going here in the bottom of the 9th

At least these 20 runs were scored all in one game and when it's over it's over today (sorry Yogi). Vince Lombardi said that it doesn't matter if you get knocked down, but whether you get back up. We will see what this has done for the team good or bad come tomorrow night.
