Homer by Jose! This is why I love the guy. He can look absolutely terrible in 3 at bats and when he is needed he steps up to deliver. He never lets down.

I am sorry that I missed things earlier, but what is up with Maggs. He is not in the line up so my question is: did he get hurt last night?

That is frustrating too. I love Jose, but the guy is on track to K maybe 200 times this year.

Garland gets lit up every other game. He is consistent-consistently pitching .500 winning percentage. The offense is another issue. Wasdin comes in with an ERA pushing 7 a game and we have 1 hit off the new Cy Young candidate.

Texas is doing good and I think it really shows that one player does not make a team.

Are you Kenny Williams in disguise on soxtalk? I hope the Sox do sign Valentin. He is a very integral part of this team and plays hard all the time. And as the article says: who else in ready anyway? Manos can gives us 2 or 4 more good years and give the Sox time to develop a young SS.

I see that Adkins gives up a long ball now to Blalock. This is not an encouraging performance by Adkins if he wants to be an all-star.
