Just logging on. I watched last night's game on WGN and felt such a let down that couldn't describe it if I tried. What a pathetic bunch. Buerhle with asuberb outing and it was wasted. Today it's Garcia stepping up and Marte almost blows it. But, he didn't and maybe that's a good sign going to the 9th. Go Sox!

He is in a slump and that happens. How about Carlos Lee not getting Rowand in from third with one out (he popped up remember) and how about not getting the runner in from 2nd when he struck out. Politte blew the game, Crede didn't get a hit, Alomar looked bad...on and on It ain't a one player deal guys so quit poiting fingers at one player. It's a TEAM thing and that's how you win or lose-as a team. Right now the team is losing and hopefully we get a win on Sunday and move into KC seeing a fresh team spirit led by Contreras getting our 2nd win in a row.

If I was manager for a day I don't think I would have left Politte in there after the bases were loaded. Takatsu is more the ground ball pitcher and that's what we needed plus I feel he has better control. Konerko made a web gem of a play on the liner and of course what followed was typical of the last 7 games.

Maybe Ozzie mistook a BM coming on for a gut feeling...

Go back to games other players have blown. It happens. Big Hurt k's with the winning runs on base, Maggs is out with the tieing run on, Buerhle gives up a homer or three in a game, it happens. They will rebound, at least I hope so.

What did Infante do? MLB Game Day says in play no out recorded and then shows a line out to Perez? Doesn't help one's attitude when we are losing and then your baseball feed is screwed up too.

But that is what a TEAM is supposed to do when someone is slumping. This team has three hits tonight. THREE hits from 9 hitters. It is not just one guy ot coming through. That's my point.

It dosn't help to try and target one player for this teams failure. I don't think Jose is the problem in fact he actually is probably one of the better ones on the team. He may botch plays once in awhile, but who doesn't. Jose has also played some great defense and provided offense when we needed it. We are losing becasue the team hasn't picked each other up lately and not because of one guy.

Pathetic display again. The twins showed us up in every way this series and showed everyone how a winning ballclub works. Ozzie ball has a whole new conotation after this series.
