  1. Jamaal Charles, you are a bad mothaf***a!
  2. I like Engel very much -- he doesn't have a ton in common with Eaton, but they both may have been undervalued. Main difference with Engel being that he was once considerd a top 5 round pick, whereas Eaton never had a chance due to his size.
  3. QUOTE (flavum @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 04:43 PM) If I remember correctly, Hawkins called out a local reporter for pointing out a fact about Hawkins' game. He took at as a rip, and tweeted that he was blocking him. The way I look at it, Hawkins was terrible in 2013 at age 19. Hopefully he'll improve going back to Winston-Salem at age 20 with good enough numbers to advance him to Birmingham in 2015. Then it's just a matter if he's good enough. If he's not, oh well. Move on to the next guy. And, of course, if he hasn't quite made it as a Double-A player at age 21, he still won't be a bust.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 03:57 PM) Well, this appears to have been much worse than most of the details I saw in the media. This is why it sucks that the DA decided on the lack of guilt in a quite unclear case
  5. Still a good day for the D
  6. Jay Ratliff is for real
  7. Chuck and duck for the win!
  8. The Bill of Rights is not to be confused with the Ten Commandments. You're allowed to change it, point out its flaws, etc.
  9. You guys are making me start to regret leaving Kirk Cousins on my bench.... Meanwhile, I've got Brandon with a great game so far at half, Mike Wallace going off, and Vernon Davis with a big time half. Makes me feel better about having Greg Jennings on the bench (thought hard about starting him over Wallace) and Martellus, who is having a decent game.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 01:11 PM) What call was unforgivably bad? Calling a false start on Alshon for going in motion
  11. Easy to say, but of course they did dick it up quite royally. We all knew there might be some lumps bringing Jay back, we don't need s*** like that going against us too
  12. Unforgivably bad call may change the outcome of this one
  13. God damn, this game might be fixed
  14. This is the Chicago Bears. We don't just get usable QBs. You don't let Jay Cutler, flaws and all, walk without taking the longest look possible.
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 01:02 PM) Talk about overreaction. Yeah, Jesus Christ. There's a lot more at stake than this game, here.
  16. This is essentially what we wanted. You had to play Cutler in hopes that he demonstrates whether or not he is better than McCown. Looks like he is showing us what we needed to see.
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 09:54 AM) And the fact that she made a ton of phone calls immediately afterwards. And a medical report where they for whatever reason redacted a bunch of things from the original report before presenting it to the media. She did come in bruised, that much was on there. Yeah, if nothing else, it is heinous that they didn't let a jury decide on this
  18. LOL wtf was Thom Brennaman doing?
  19. Our play clock must be about 15 seconds by the looks of things
  20. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 12:26 PM) When the defense starts getting their own interceptions or stopping anyone they can start complaining Yeah, criticizing this offense would be a pretty risky proposition for virtually every single player on the defense
  21. easy to know the snap count when you snap it with 1 second every time
  22. Give us McCown!!!!!
