  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:36 PM) I'd rather not risk McCown getting hurt for next week. Also, the last thing Trestman probably wants is McCown to come in, throw for a few TDs, and then create a huge QB controversy. It wouldn't be hard to defend putting McCown it at this piont, especially with all the hits Jay is taking. You can defend it by Jay's s***ty play or by saying you're protecting him
  2. I find myself hoping for Cutler to come up lame
  3. Mills is the one who whiffed on the block
  4. Briggs looked quite hurt after that play. Lied face flat on the ground and walked off cradling his left arm.
  5. Coming into the game, if you knew PHI would have 24 points at half and knew nothing about what the Bears would have, would you have panicked about the result of the game?
  6. 3 points scored in the first half. f*** you defense!!
  7. Hey dumbf*** we already ran a play
  8. Alshon costs us 10 seconds f***ing around
  9. Let's be real, too -- no fumble on the kickoff return and this doens't look like a disaster
  10. The defense just needs some position to get a ton better to slow them down at all. Every play you can see where just one f***ing guy could have done something. Better LB play, better safety play, better DE play. Something
  11. Briggs isn't play well. He just runs his right (healthy) shoulder into the blocker every time and blows by the play. I haven't seen him engage anyone with his left side all game
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 08:30 PM) The ball hit the freakin ground on the snap, nothing he can do. You're ragging on Jay just because at the moment. I was talking about the previous play when I posted that The (non-snap) problem on the next one was Forte
  13. Also, Forte's several totally blown pickups have totally killed those plays
  14. Cutler needs to figure out what to do when there's a blitz for f***'s sake.
  15. Drives like this needed to happen sooner, before we completely gassed our defense.
  16. Because they snapped with 0 on the play clock, he f***ing throws it without reading the defense like he's still being timed.
  17. Jay looks like f***ing s***.
  18. We know the defense is bad. We also know that it will be twice is bad if they spend the entire game on the field. The offense can't play this bad or the defense will never have a chance.
  19. If you could press the reset button on this game, would you kick it off with McCown under center?
  20. Welp, this doesn't look good. Can McCown play defense?
  21. Josh Phegley has only had acceptable offense in the minor leagues for half of a season, ever. Let's not act like he has some kind of great MiLB pedigree.
  22. I think Tomlin did the right thing. Running the clock down and all that involved too much risk to leave 7 points on the board at that point.
