  1. Still waiting for a break on offense. D doesn't look good, but it should be 7-0
  2. Hard to watch. I don't know if I've ever seen the Bears offense catch a break and that's what we need with our entire defense injured.
  3. Don't worry guys, Urlacher sucks so the MLB play can't get worse
  4. Bears receivers LOVE falling down as passes come their way. Alshon may get sued for infringing upon Johnny Knox's copyright
  5. Matai makes a good point. I don't know if we can or should do it, but the logic is sound. It would be as if you're paying the 3B, not Bourn.
  6. This has been the most fun I've had watching Illinois in about 7 years. Even last year when we started out hot, we were just an excruciating team to watch.
  7. As a White Sox, Mark Teahen couldn't do anything well. Keppinger does one thing just about better than anyone else -- it's nice to have a tool that good.
  8. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 8, 2012 -> 11:17 PM) Wow, bp3! The most impressive player in the big ten so far this year. I have no idea how he learned to finish so well. For 3 years he could get to the rim like no other and NEVER make the shot.
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 8, 2012 -> 11:16 PM) My goodness BP3!
  10. And then Egwu does that. Really terrible, have to be smarter than that.
  11. That call on Tyler Griffey was just truly awful. They've been bad both ways for sure, but the fouls on our big guys could be what really affects the result.
  12. Bardo doing a pretty good job of veiling his excitement at how well the Illini are playing.

    Finals

    All due on Tuesday: Spanish Cinema final paper German Cinema final essays History final paper (American Film Ratings) Did a pretty simple Spanish final yesterday.
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 8, 2012 -> 03:41 PM) http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ead-of-rodgers/ It's an incredibly flawed statistic and shouldn't be used by anyone It's an incredibly flawed way to evaluate it, one game in which one player offered very limited sample size. I take QBR with a giant grain of salt, though
  15. I haven't followed this closely enough to even know what the points of contention are. Who is RIGHT in this deal? I have always had the sense that hockey isn't making enough money for the players to get paid the way they do.
  16. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 7, 2012 -> 02:24 PM) ohhhh boy.... Psy of ‘Gangnam Style’ Fame Once Rapped About Torturing and Killing American Soldiers and Their Families While the song he quoted (wasn't actually his own song, it was another Korean band's) was pretty f***ed up and you probably shouldn't talk about anyone that way...we have done some f***ed up s*** to South Korea and they remain basically an American colony.
  17. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 7, 2012 -> 01:02 PM) I actually told my wife this once...and I believe it's 100% true. I was happy to have met her when I did (when I was 31), because she ended up with the version of me that was no longer interested in games/learning/experience...I was at the point where I understood myself, what I wanted, and why. There are a few of my ex-girlfriends (still friends), that if I had met at a different time in my life, everything would be different today...and I wouldn't have ended up with my wife (or daughters). At the time, I couldn't have foreseen, or understood anything that complex unfolding...but it was. It was the wrong "us" at the wrong time...nothing more. But that opened the possibility of the family I have and love now. So the Hawkeroo was right. It's not who you play, it's when you play 'em
  18. I have to think 162 games of baseball is far worse for the long-term health of your joints/muscles than wasting a couple years of your life on drugs. Once you've built your body back up to playing shape (which he has clearly done), IMO he just saved himself from a couple years of wear and tear. Mentally, maybe not.
  19. What these people who have been all hockey, all the time, all their lives don't realize...the survival of their sport is at stake. It may even be too late.
