  1. Why would the Royals simultaneously seek RA Dickey and shop Billy Butler?
  2. I like Rip. I don't really care that he's out, but it's just another chink in our offensive armor.
  3. Let's all gather round and read the Gospel of Wealth
  4. The explanatory power given to OPS has gotten to asinine levels. Just as if you told me their batting averages, I don't learn nearly enough about the player. I also think OPS is especially useless if you're not also giving me HR/RBI stats. OPS is meant to predict HR and RBI, and so I'd like to see if it effectively predicts those things in the player. Dunn out produced his OPS last year, IMO. Napoli seems to produce less than his OPS suggests IMO.
  5. Nothing significant will happen until there is a big time propaganda campaign. If we can make people feel about climate change the way they once felt about nuclear holocaust, we'd suddenly have very clean industries.
  6. I don't know who to root for in the BCS Championship. I do NOT want to see another SEC team win...I live amongst those assholes and they are extremely annoying. Anyways, I'm not going to complain about NIU. Good for them. Hope they keep the result respectable. A decent enough showing might allow them to start bringing in some real recruits.
  7. Gordon hit 16 HRs and drove in 61 last year. Not TOO shabby. If he didn't mix in two separate months of unserviceable baseball, there would be nothing to complain about
  8. Beating GB cures all ills. Our play calling today made it look like our OC might be up to the task of scheming against a defense that does nothing well but blitz. As far as Rodgers goes, he can't out play what Russell Wilson did today.
  9. We put ourselves in a position where they had to make a mistake and they didn't, for about 10 minutes. Had we done something like score more points, catch a touchdown pass, catch an easy pick, etc. we wouldn't have waited for a mistake that never happened. Once our defense was on the field for something like 20 straight plays it was all over but the crying unless they gave the ball away...and they didn't.
  10. Bears can look in the mirror for this one. Props to Wilson for taking advantage of numerous Bears mistakes though.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 2, 2012 -> 03:21 PM) Oh bulls***...pick up 6 f***ing inches Yeah that call didn't bother me we just needed to execute.
  12. Coin toss really cost us much of a chance to win it non our own merit.
  13. Urlacher walks off
  14. Turnover would be nice.
  15. Our defense is absolutely dead. We need to call a time out just to rest them.
  16. Wilson's running is just killing us.
  17. Have to play defense again.
  18. What the f*** just happened.
  19. We missed a ton of opportunities to end this thing.
  20. Can't lose games like this.
  21. These announcers are just f***ing terrible. Acting like Melton's hit was dirty. Meanwhile, things are looking dicey.
  22. Shea McClellin getting more snaps than usual and looking good. Playing smart and looks like more than a pass rusher.
  23. Don't stop now, boys!
  24. Great catch by Weems! And Brandon Marshall is the best WR I've ever watched.
  25. When will QBs learn that they aren't faster than our defensive linemen?
