  1. QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 09:18 AM) How bad was Tank at third in '09? Never saw him. I would think they could have worked with him at third... It was hard to tell, really. Lots of wild throws, which is teachable but apparently not worth the growing pains
  2. Hudson still has outplayed what Morel did this year, but he's going to have to go on one hell of a run to keep his position
  3. Lillibridge has been having some terrible plate appearances
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:40 PM) He also got caught stealing on a fake to third, throw to first move this year. That's not so bad since you are typically going on first movement...this is why I was against outlawing that move. It is effective against the run game
  5. Terrible play Rios. Unlike you this year
  6. Dayan with a terrible approach today
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:25 PM) I hope you mean in the minors proving he can actually get minor leaguers out first (which I think you are). Definitely. We're minimizing his value in this role. also...DON'T STOP NOW BOYS!
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:23 PM) Well, we gave Rasmus one of his best career games today. 5/5? Really? s*** happens, relax
  9. The day we make Stewart a starting pitcher is a day our franchise gets a little better.
  10. If Lilli hits here, I'll be a believer
  11. Humber doesn't deserved to be pulled right now. Hell, he was a better pitch call away from a possible quality start today. His struggles were REALLY bad about 5-6 starts ago, but he's been getting by since. I see no reason that he'll be unable to find that command again.
  12. Add another one on to the soft hit parade
  13. That's some very cheap hitting right there
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:33 PM) Dempster has a perfect game thru 5...just thought I'd try to jinx him I support this
  15. QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:32 PM) Something about them Blue Jays... Every year it seems It's not over...Jays are very weak on the mound
  16. That last home run was all on AJ, terrible pitch calling
  17. Just about every prep prospect that is able commits to a college to gain a little leverage in negotiations, hedge their bets in case of injury, etc.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:37 PM) Daryl Van Schouwen ‏@CST_soxvan Sox-Jays matchups: Tues Romero v Humber win ; Weds Morrow v. Quintana win ; Thurs Alvarez v Peavy win.
  19. I like all of these players more than Lance Broadway/Keenyn Walker
  20. I like this pick a lot. I actually like the delivery...lands a little open, that is my only concern. May allow him more movement on the FB though. MLB body, MLB fastball. Plenty to work with there.
  21. I'd like to see Chris put on some weight, but I wouldn't say that it is necessary for him to be effective or durable. His build makes me more worried about his back holding up than anything. This is why I always see it as BS that someone like Marcus Stroman in the draft with amazing stuff was looked down upon as a durability risk for being 5'9" -- he was also a muscular 190, which makes him less of a durability risk than Sale IMO
  22. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:12 PM) What are the chances Ravelo is very good to outstanding one day? I know little about him (perhaps that question makes this obvious) Seems like he needs to develop power to be a top prospect at 3B. Have to like what we've seen so far, though
  23. QUOTE (kapzk @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 11:22 AM) Jays pen suck and add in the fact that Santos is on the DL I'd say in 2-3 years someone will say Sergio Santos and we'll all say "who?"
  24. In that youtube vid it looked like Basto had eye makeup on, lol
